Assuming he lasts that long, President Donald Trump is in danger of being impeached after the 2018 midterms if the Democrats take control on Congress, Fox News political editor Chris Stirewalt warned on Tuesday.
With the White House reeling from two indictments handed down by special counsel Robert Mueller and another aide pleading guilty to lying to the FBI the Fox political analyst said that the Democrats see an opening to take Trump down if the GOP suffers huge losses in the next election.
Speaking with host Harris Faulkner, Stirewalt painted a portrait of a president under siege.
There is real danger for the president lurking out there, Stirewalt cautioned the Fox News host. Republicans if they lose control of Congress there is a very strong chance that Donald Trump will be impeached.

Twitter users are roasting Donald Trump Jr. after he flaunted his apparent misunderstanding of basic math in a Tuesday tweet.
The eldest Trump child had attempted to make a snarky remark about an October 2015 Chicago Tribune headline, "Five Years Into Common Core, Many ACT Scores Below Average"but ended up flunking a middle school math test instead.
"I would imagine that 50 percent are below average...that's how math works," Trump Jr. wrote. "The real question is what is the average now vs. before Common Core."
The problem is, that's not how math works.

Oh, FFS Don Jr, even Jethro Bodine was good at "cipherin'..." (fails to grasp basic math skills)

Mueller set to interview Hope Hicks after Trump returns from Asia

Special counsel Robert Mueller is set to speak with longtime Donald Trump aide and White House Communications Director Hope Hicks, marking a new phase in his departments investigation into the 2016 presidential election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign.
As Politico reports, Muellers team has interviewed firmer Trump aides, including Reince Priebus and Sean Spicer, but Hicks is the first current administration official to be grilled by the special counsel. The interview will take place after Trump returns from his scheduled trip to Asia.
Nothing about recent events alters the White Houses commitment to fully cooperate with the office of the special counsel, White House lawyer Ty Cobb told Politico.

You need to improve your reading comprehension skills. Papadopoulos was encouraged by campaign higher-ups to set up a back-channel communication with Putin's office while Russia was attacking US election. Stop spinning.

A "NO COLLUSION!" victory lap followed by 21 hours of silence.

WASHINGTON DC - In the wake of charges filed against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and his associate Rick Gates, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly held an impromptu Press Conference on Monday afternoon. Kelly was barely recognizable as he approached the podium, clad in the garb of a Viking warrior. He began the conference with a 20 minute tirade in which he insulted and threatened each member of the Press Corps and asserted Donald Trump's position of Supreme Leader of Valhalla. He gnawed hungrily on a large turkey leg while speaking and supped liberally from a flagon of mead.
Kelly then demanded that a special counsel be appointed to investigate Democrats over a uranium deal during the Obama administration and a dossier compiled on Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign. "We shall burn their homes and press their children into service in our mighty army," Kelly promised. "We shall storm the gates of the usurper Mueller and demand an apology for his clearly false accusations against the mighty and noble Trump. Those who stand in the way of our holy crusade need only know that I am a Viking, and you shall die by a Viking's hand. The rivers will run red with your blood, and we will dance in the streets as we decimate your unholy and futile resistance to our bold, unconquerable King!"
New York Times reporter Glenn Thrush reminded Kelly that the United States elects a President, and does not serve under the rule of a monarch. Kelly hurled his turkey leg across the room at Thrush and demanded that he be removed to the dungeon for 40 lashes. Clearly confused, White House security personnel reminded Kelly that there was no dungeon in the White House, at which point Kelly demanded that the entire security detail also follow Thrush to the dungeon to receive their "just penance" of 40 lashes.
Rumors ran rampant that a new reporter in the Press Pool who introduced herself as "Diane Rodham" from the "MAGA Times" was actually former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, heavily disguised and surreptitiously smuggled into the conference by Jim Acosta, long rumored to be seeking payback as the result of his many jabs from Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Stephen Miller in past press events. Rodham asked Kelly if he had Prince Albert in a can. Kelly exploded in a fit of anger as he responded "Of COURSE I have Prince Albert in a can! He shall no longer pose a threat to our Democracy! President Trump continues to honor his oath of office and his unbreakable pledge to keep America safe from terrorist threats from the likes of despots such as the vile Prince Albert. Lowly peasants, you shall sing songs of praise for our President, or by virtue of all that is holy, you shall not leave this room alive!"
Hillary Clinton could not be reached for comment, but sent a message via her staff which thanked Kelly for his swift handling of the "Prince Albert Affair."

President Trump woke before dawn on Monday and burrowed in at the White House residence to wait for the Russia bombshell he knew was coming.
Separated from most of his West Wing staff who fretted over why he was late getting to the Oval Office Trump clicked on the television and spent the morning playing fuming media critic, legal analyst and crisis communications strategist, according to several people close to him.
***
On Sunday, Trump had attempted to seek refuge from the political squall with another round of golf at his Virginia club. Sens. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) and Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) were set to join him, according to two people briefed on the plans an afternoon of camaraderie and talk about his tax proposal.
It was not to be. Rainy weather forced the White House to cancel the outing yet another disappointment, beyond the presidents control.
