Dear @realDonaldTrump: The "dumbest" law you refer to is called the United States Constitution. Specifically the 14th Amendment which provides due process to all persons, not just citizens.

You took an oath to the Constitution at your relatively small inauguration, remember?

When people come into our Country illegally, we must IMMEDIATELY escort them back out without going through years of legal maneuvering. Our laws are the dumbest anywhere in the world. Republicans want Strong Borders and no Crime. Dems want Open Borders and are weak on Crime!

Federalist Society's Leonard Leo showers Trump with praise over how he's handling SCOTUS pick

"Ahhhh...Bach." (Little in-joke for my fellow M*A*S*H fans)

According to the Post, Trump wants a nominees who is “extraordinarily well qualified” and who earned their degree at an Ivy League university—namely Harvard or Yale. As the Post reports, Trump “also wants to see a portfolio of solid academic writing, though this adviser acknowledged Trump does not care to read it; he simply wants to know it exists.”

“This president had a vision,” Leonard Leo, who advises the president on judicial nominees, told the Post. “He did something entrepreneurial and different. He had a very clear sense of what he wanted, he spent a lot of time asking questions about [the late] Justice [Antonin] Scalia and Justice [Clarence] Thomas and other members of the court, and he got to know Justice Kennedy a little bit. I have been really impressed with how he conducted this process. He’s in control of it.”

Trump himself described Supreme Court nominee selection as the most important decision he can make “outside of war and peace.”

“We have a pick to come up,” Trump said at a campaign rally Wednesday night. “We have to pick a great one. We have to pick one that’s going to be there for 40 years, 45 years. We need intellect. We need so many things to go. You know, there’s so many elements go into the making of a great justice of the Supreme Court. You’ve got to hit every one of them.”

9 hurt, 4 critically, as man stabs refugee families at Boise low-income apartments

https://www.idahostatesman.com/latest-news/article214144964.html

Refugee families at a low-income apartment complex were attacked Saturday night by a man who stabbed nine people — more than any other attack in Boise's history, police said. Four of them suffered injuries that police called life-threatening.

A 30-year-old man was quickly taken into custody at gunpoint, police said. All of the victims were taken to a hospital.

Boise Police Chief Bill Bones hinted that some victims may be children: "The age range of the victims varies dramatically, and it's affected all aspects of the families within the apartments," he said.

The motive for the attack was not immediately known, and neither was the relationship between the suspect and the victims, Bones said at an 11 p.m. news conference. It also was not immediately clear whether all of the victims were refugees.

Bolton: North Korea nuclear program can be dismantled in year

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - White House national security adviser John Bolton said on Sunday he believed the bulk of North Korea’s nuclear program could be dismantled within a year.

Bolton also told CBS’s “Face the Nation” that Washington was going into nuclear negotiations aware of Pyongyang’s failure to live up to its promises in the past.

“There’s not any starry-eyed feeling among the group doing this,” he said. “We’re well aware of what the North Koreans have done in the past.”

Crowd drops to ground crying as 'lunatic' Trump supporter pulls gun on peaceful immigration protest

Crowd drops to ground crying as ‘lunatic’ Trump supporter pulls gun on peaceful immigration protest in Alabama

A former Huntsville teacher, Shane Ryan Sealy, 34, allegedly showed up to counter protest. He exchanged words with another protestor and then pulled out a gun, according to WHNT News.

Other attendees described him as a “a lunatic counter protester” and praised police for quickly arresting him.

“He pulled out a gun. I saw him holding it out in front of him. We just started screaming for everybody to drop to the ground,” said Ava Caldwell, the rally’s organizer. “We all dropped to the ground crying.”

Sealy was arrested before firing any shots. The police pointed out that he was not allowed to have a firearm within 1,000 feet of the protest.

Trump, 6/30: "I never pushed Republicans"...6/27: Trump pushed Republicans.

@realDonaldTrump

I never pushed the Republicans in the House to vote for the Immigration Bill, either GOODLATTE 1 or 2, because it could never have gotten enough Democrats as long as there is the 60 vote threshold. I released many prior to the vote knowing we need more Republicans to win in Nov.

HOUSE REPUBLICANS SHOULD PASS THE STRONG BUT FAIR IMMIGRATION BILL, KNOWN AS GOODLATTE II, IN THEIR AFTERNOON VOTE TODAY, EVEN THOUGH THE DEMS WON’T LET IT PASS IN THE SENATE. PASSAGE WILL SHOW THAT WE WANT STRONG BORDERS & SECURITY WHILE THE DEMS WANT OPEN BORDERS = CRIME. WIN!
