Allow me to educate you Hack...

Hack, (ET AL) I am grateful for the opportunity to EDUCATE you why guns, owning guns, open carry, concealed carry ( obviously out of fear...of something) i.e. BogeyMan with Skittles, etc...People think you can just run around with guns.

Fact Sheet:
Accidental Shootings
Guns in the home increase risk:
Rather than being used for self defense, guns in the home are 22 times more likely to be involved in accidental shootings, homicides, or suicide
attempts
.
For every one time a gun in the home was used in a self-defense or legally justifiable shooting, there were 4 unintentional shootings, 7
criminal assaults or homicides,
and 11 attempted or completed suicides.

Deaths:From 2005-2010, almost 3,800 people in the U.S. died from unintentional shootings.

More than a third of the victims were under 25 years of age.
Injuries:In 2010, unintentional firearm shootings caused the deaths of 606 people.

More Guns = More Accidental Shootings: People of all age groups are significantly more
likely to die from unintentional firearm injuries when they live in states with more guns, relative to states with fewer guns.

On average, states with the highest gun ownership levels had 9 times the rate of unintentional firearms deaths compared to
states with the lowest gun ownership levels.

A federal government study of unintentional shootings found that 8% of such
shooting deaths resulted from shots fired by children under the age of six.

Youth and Accidental Shootings:
Over 1,300 victims of unintentional shootings for the period 2005–2010 were under 25 years of age.
For kids ages 5 to 14, the mortality rate is 14 times higher in high gun ownership states than low gun
ownership states
.
For infants and toddlers, ages 0 to 4, the mortality rate is 17 times higher in high gun
ownership states than low gun ownership states.

The majority of people killed in firearm accidents are under age 24, and most of these
young people are being shot by someone else, usually someone their own age. The shooter
is typically a friend or family member, often an older brother.

Mitch McConnell Says He Stood Up for Women in a Senate Sexual-Harassment Scandal. The Real Story Is

McConnell claims he led a 1995 investigation against a GOP senator accused of sexual misconduct.

Actually, he took steps to keep it quiet.

Obamacare Sign-Ups Hit 8 Million In Remarkable Turnaround

March and April saw an uptick in the share of young people signing up for private plans using the exchanges. These people, who are presumably healthier, are needed to balance out the medical costs of older, sicker consumers. About 35 percent of people who signed up throughout the open enrollment period were under 35 years old, including children, Obama said. Twenty-eight percent were between the ages of 18 and 34, according to a White House fact sheet.

The O~Man also called out the States that refuse Medicaid to their own citizens, somewhere in the 5 million area, due to nothing more than a searing hate for Obama, and political posturing.

Fox host Elisabeth Hasselbeck: Climate science is just a ‘product that’s sold’ to Americans

Fox News host Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Thursday morning declared that climate change was just another “product” being “sold” to the American people, which might explain why a recent study found that the network was wrong about the subject 72 percent of the time.

Bryan Fischer tells poor people: ‘Kiss the ground’ beneath the richest 1 percent

As a 99% er, I find this disturbing. ..

On his April 15 broadcast, Fischer opined that President Barack Obama was using the Internal Revenue (IRS) service to “go after the 1 percent.”

“The top 1 percent are funding 30 percent of the government!” the radio host explained. “So, rather than the poor, the low income and the middle class being resentful of these people, they should be kissing the ground on which they walk!”
