About Keystone, China and India...
This is what China and India will be doing with the jobs, oil and coal we send them.
Our leaders send a million jobs a year to Asia as punishment for not doing well on standardized tests. We are told that until the US improves test scores, Asia deserves our jobs, CEOs don't have to pay taxes and the American people deserve nothing.
Well, another A+ for China. You earned it for the one and only standard test that matters.
You've learned to suffer at the hands of greed and corruption without offering any opposition.
But watch out, the USA is catching up fast.
We started spying on everyone including environmental groups and peace activists.
With our bold demand for a surveillance state, the USA is now in contention as the most subservient and compliant people on Earth.
It's a fight for the bottom of humanity.

The Democrats' Political Suicide - Explains EXACTLY why the Democratic Party has become
irrelevant to the middle class and below. For those who know the truths below are self-evident, KEEP UP THE FIGHT against the right wing DNC and Third Way! We see what they have created and it is a giant fucking mess.
One, alienate your core constituencies. That includes reneging on a pledge to help the trade unions; launch a campaign of vilification against school teachers -- from kindergarten through college; attack civil liberties protections; commit to reductions in Social Security and Medicare; stiff the environmentalists. In short, do to them in a calculated way what a Republican president would do instinctively.
Two, curry favor with your party's traditional enemies: Wall Street, Big Pharma, the Christian Right, the energy and industrial agriculture trusts. That has the dual effect of blunting your message and blurring your image while emboldening the objects of your favors to demand even more.
Three, permit the Republicans in Congress to exploit to the fullest their irresponsible tactics by never denouncing them for what they are or moving to challenge them on their own electoral turf. As a corollary, go along with the coy designation of the Tea Party controlled radical reactionary Republican Party as self-styled "conservatives."
Four, enable the Republicans to shape public discourse by monopolizing the airways and media. Democratic silence, timidity, defensiveness and evasion have given the Republicans the free run of the playing field. On this score, the party's leadership has been abject -- the president above all. Endless visits to daytime TV shows to schmooze about nothing in particular undercut respect for the presidency, neutralize the advantage of the incumbency and motivate the public to tune out or denigrate important messages. Mr. Obama seems oblivious to the obvious truth that most of the country stopped paying attention to what he says years ago.

The noises coming out of the punditocracy, think tanks, media and the Clinton entourage suggest that the same blinkered views that have brought the Democratic Party low are being reinforced. Some of this phenomenon can be understood as sheer intellectual laziness among the inbred Washington elites. Some expresses the self-interest of those who long have reconciled themselves to a status quo that has placed them among the country's privileged and keeps threats to their sinecures at a distance. This is not the age of conviction or empathy. The psychology of cognitive dissonance reinforces these dispositions.

The answer is simple. In Presidential elections the entire national political party focuses on one individual. If that individual is talking a good game, people respond.
If all that talk doesn't turn into action, or worse, if the candidate later does the OPPOSITE of the things they said they would do to get elected, people lose their trust. They register that distrust and dissent during midterms.
Liberals worked at grass roots efforts to get Obama elected. As soon as 2008 was over, DNC ripped everything up and pretended cross-over conservatives elected Obama (lol). They went straight to work rewarding Republicans and Wall Street.
If conservatives were impressed at all with Obama in 2008, they were impressed by the community driven, 50 states, grass roots efforts by LIBERALS to get LIBERALS to vote.
In 2014, candidates distanced themselves from Obama, but that is a superficial analysis. Candidates were really running away from the liberal framework who put them into office.
We now have four political parties that hate liberals.
1. Tea Party
2. 3rd Way
3. Republicans
4. Democrats
Democrats like Hillary Clinton hold $250,000 Wall Street speaking sessions to solicit ideas from the gilded upper class and talk of the working class as obstacles to their own self-fulfillment.
When it comes to improving the quality of life (wages, health care, justice, civil rights) for American workers, only liberals have a proven track record of success. Everyone else is a distant second.
After purging liberals from the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is doing exactly what ass-covering out-of-touch administrators do. She has formed a committee to investigate the committee.
Here's what needs to be on the whiteboard, somewhere near the top:

"School Reform" - cutting wages and benefits of teachers and selling schools to corporations.
"Secure our energy future" - fracking without regulating the pollution it creates.
"War on Terror" - letting NSA spy on our husbands, wives, children.
"Bank Reform" - tax deductible, low impact fines passed on to consumers.
"Entitlement Reform" - Cutting social security and raising the retirement age."
"3rd Way" - right wing hipsters who are wealthy, attractive and better dressed than the average tea bagger.

What's wrong with 3rd way advocacy?
3rd way is simply a group of Republicans who don't get along with the tea party. They have enough money to buy the Democratic Party.
You can thank them for "centering" the Democratic Party to the hard right. And, by the way, believing that NSA should spy on your children is most definitely hard right. Believing that Wall Street fraud doesn't need to be prosecuted because "no one got hurt" is definitely hard right. Not just hard right, it's also incredibly fucked up thinking. These are ideas that only dictators and despots endorse.
