Anti-violence march on northbound lanes of Dan Ryan Expressway set to start at 10 a.m.

Just hours before a planned protest that was expected to shut down the Dan Ryan Expressway was to begin, Illinois State Police announced Saturday that they will work with protestors to grant access while also keeping some lanes open to traffic.

Rev. Michael Pfleger, a priest at St. Sabina Catholic Church, and other anti-violence protesters were aiming to shut down the northbound lanes of the Dan Ryan Expressway Saturday morning in an effort to press city officials to better address gun violence, joblessness and access to quality education.

“When people keep ignoring you, you take it up a notch,” Pfleger said earlier in the week.

Wow, she kicked kicked his ass. He finally resorted to "What was Obama doing?" and she went ballistic on the twit! "What was Obama doing? What was Obama doing?" she repeated and then she laid out how Obama was working with other nations to address the imbalance, not fighting a multi-front war with our allies and China.

She knows the subject inside and out. She made Miller look like a HS debater and she also pointed out his and Kudlow's hypocrisy on the issue.

That was impressive.

Lawyers for Ohio State contradict Jim Jordan's claim he's not been contacted

But a written statement from Porter Wright Morris & Arthur attorney Kathleen Trafford, provided by the university, said investigators have previously contacted Jordan’s office by email and phone to request he participate in an interview.

“To date, Rep. Jordan has not responded to those requests, but we understand from public statements issued on his behalf today that Rep. Jordan is willing to talk to the investigative team,” Trafford said.
