grossproffit's JournalMichele Bachmann: God picked Trump to be the GOP nominee

[/youtube]I dont think God sits things out. Hes a sovereign God. Donald Trump became our nominee," Bachmann continued in the interview, which was conducted on Friday.
"I think its very likely that in the day that we live in, that Donald Trump is the only individual who could win in a General Election of the seventeen who ran. Maybe Im wrong, I dont know but I do know that the Bible is true and that Daniel teaches the most high God which is one of Gods names is the one who lifts up who he will and takes down who He will..."

Hillary Clinton to give speech tomorrow on the ‘Alt-Right’ and Trumps embracing of it.
Alt-right is not something Trump created. Its something he tapped into, said David Duke, a former Ku Klux Klan leader and Louisiana state lawmaker who said his current U.S. Senate bid was inspired by Mr. Trump and the rise of the alt-right.
The GOP nominees America first agenda reflects some of the alt-rights core beliefs in limiting U.S. intervention in overseas military conflicts and targeting illegal immigration and free trade as economic and security perils.
The alt-right is characterized by mostly young, white men active on social media who tag mainstream Republicans as cuckservatives, favor memes featuring a green frog with Nazi insignia, and troll Jewish media figures online by putting three sets of parentheses around their names. Campaigns have been organized around hashtags such as #WhiteGenocide to perpetrate the idea that white people are being eradicated.
The Trump campaign has been dog whistling all the way and said a whole host of things that go to the core of the alt-right movement, said Mark Potok, a senior fellow at the Southern Poverty Law Center, another civil-rights group.

"Trump’s brain is a pincushion for conspiracy theories." NYT EDITORIAL BOARD
There are so many lies and delusions flowing daily from the Trump campaign that its easy to miss the times when the Republican nominee is being not just ludicrous, but dangerous. This is one.
Mr. Trump has seized on the charge that Hillary Clinton plans to win by cheating. He has said it before, but he keeps on saying it. This looks like pre-emptive face-saving, of course getting an excuse ready if he loses badly. But its worse than that.
Mr. Trump has been attacking recent court decisions striking down utterly unjustified state voter-identification laws that are attempts by Republican legislatures to hinder black and Latino voters, who tend to vote Democratic. The crime the laws were meant to prevent voting by fraudulent voters with fake IDs is a Republican myth, concocted for partisan reasons. There is no evidence that such fraud exists on any scale, only a handful of isolated instances.
<snipped>
Mr. Trumps brain is a pincushion for conspiracy theories, so maybe its no surprise that he thinks the Clinton campaign will be sending African-Americans and foreigners into booths across the country to fake their votes over and over, millions of times.

Trump quintupled his campaign's Trump Tower rent — once his donors started footing the bill
Donald Trump Jacked Up His Campaigns Trump Tower Rent Once Somebody Else Was Paying ItOffice rent soared in July after Trumps campaign began accepting donor contributions.
After bragging for a year about how cheaply he was running his campaign, Donald Trump is spending more freely now that other people are contributing ― particularly when the beneficiary is himself.
Trump nearly quintupled the monthly rent his presidential campaign pays for its headquarters at Trump Tower to $169,758 in July, when he was raising funds from donors, compared with March, when he was self-funding his campaign, according to a Huffington Post review of Federal Election Commission filings. The rent jumped even though he was paying fewer staff in July than he did in March.
The Trump campaign paid Trump Tower Commercial LLC $35,458 in March ― the same amount it had been paying since last summer ― and had 197 paid employees and consultants. In July, it paid 172 employees and consultants.
If I was a donor, Id want answers, said a prominent Republican National Committee member who supports Trump, asking for anonymity to speak freely. If they dont have any more staff, and theyre paying five times more? Thats the kind of stuff Id read and try to make an (attack) ad out of it.

Egyptian judoka sent home after refusing to shake Israeli's hand
A week after a female Saudi Arabaian judo competitor allegedly forfeited her first-round match to avoid meeting an Israeli in the second round, Egyptian judoka Islam El Shehaby has been banished from the Rio de Janeiro Olympics for refusing to shake hands after losing to Israels Or Sasson.
Sasson twice bowed in El Shehabys direction and approached him with his hand extended after the victory, but the Egyptian backpedaled before walking away from the Israelis appreciative gesture.
The International Olympic Committee reprimanded El Shehaby after the act of poor sportsmanship, and the Egyptian Olympic delegation sent the judoka home on Monday, according to Reuters.
This is merely the latest in a string of anti-Israeli behavior at the Olympics. Lebanese delegation leader Salim al-Haj Nakoula barred the Israelis from boarding a bus to the Opening Ceremony, drawing a warning from the IOC. Days later, Saudi Arabia judoka Joud Fahmy withdrew from competition to avoid a second-round match with Israeli Gili Cohen, the Times of Israel reported.

Former top Bush official Negroponte endorses Clinton
John Negroponte, a veteran diplomat who served under three Republican administrations as well as the Clinton administration, endorsed Hillary Clinton for president on Wednesday.
In a statement provided by the Clinton campaign, Negroponte touted the former secretary of states leadership qualities in his decision.
She will bring to the Presidency the skill, experience and wisdom that is needed in a President and Commander in Chief, he said. Having myself served in numerous diplomatic and national security positions starting in 1960, I am convinced that Secretary Clinton has the leadership qualities that far and away qualify her best to be our next President.
The decision comes after Negroponte joined 49 other former security and diplomatic officials from Republican administrations in signing a letter opposing GOP nominee Donald Trump earlier this week.
