It's time...

...for the Democratic members of the House Intelligence Committee to sign a letter calling for the resignation of the ranking republican member...

...and throw in calling for trump's resignation for good measure...

...MAGA Man and his mob are afraid...they know Adam will be able to wrap obstruction of justice around the president's orange fat head...

...but Adam doesn't scare...isn't impeachment a majority vote?

Would obstruction of justice qualify as an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor worth pursuing?

NBC News, 3-27-2019

From today's Lester Holt interview of James Comey,

" The president initially said he'd removed Comey at the urging of deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein and then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions, but he later told Holt it was his decision, and the president cited his frustration with the Russia probe.

Comey, asked on Wednesday by Holt what he felt about the sequence of events, replied that he still believed it raised serious questions.

"I thought that's potentially obstruction of justice and I hope somebody is going to look at that," Comey said. "Again, the president appears to be saying, I don't know what's in his head — which is why I can't reach the conclusion — what he appears to be saying is, I got rid of this guy to shut down an investigation that threatened me." Should Democratic ex-Presidents be speaking louder?

They held the office, they know what it's all about. They know what's going on behind the scenes.

In the past, ex-Presidents have tried to remain silent. We now know republicans are threatening a real 'witch hunt' of a Democratic ex-President and of Democratic ex-officials to muddy the waters and shut down debate over real republican corruption. And then there's trump.

When he's exited from office does anyone truly believe he's going to be a silent ex-President? Won't an ex-President trump be tweeting hourly bashing Democrats until he passes?

I feel our ex-Presidents should be speaking louder about what's happening to our country and democracy. What do you say?

A nation of laws?

I'm an untrained layman, so correct me if I'm wrong...

If a sitting President can not be indicted for a crime and is subject only to impeachment in the Constitution then wouldn't that mean a sitting President could commit as many federal crimes as he wanted if he could somehow avoid impeachment?

Let's pretend Al Capone were our President. Couldn't he have his mob commit as many federal crimes as they wanted and if charged with those crimes he could pardon them all? And if there weren't enough votes in the Senate to convict our Al Capone President and remove him from office wouldn't his actions be legal? And then what would happen if our Al Capone President decided to claimed a fictitious national emergency and declared there would be no more federal elections until further notice? Legal?

Wouldn't that make us a nation of men not laws? Our Al Capone President, like a dictator, would be above the law. Then we really would be a nation of men, not laws.

...just asking...

Will Republicans be able to steal the 2020 election?

Indybay, 10-18-2018

" How Republicans Steal Elections "

" Republicans represent less than 1/4 of the voter registrations in the US. Democrats have the most, followed by Independents. The plutocracy Republican party has a variety of ways it cheats. Greg Palast has filed federal lawsuits in October against the 3 Secretaries of State (Kemp in Georgia, Husted in Ohio, Kobach in Kansas) who are both umpires and players, supervising their own elections. "

Will Republicans be able to steal the 2020 election?

"...when they low, we go high..." is not a problem for Republicans.

IMO, the Mueller distraction has already helped the Russians and the Republicans muddy the waters through inaction for what's to come in 2020. The partisan political season is heavily upon us. I hope we're paying close attention.

We can't keep giving elections away...

if...

...this is the way it's going, and it sure smells that way to me...

...we now have an illigitimate president created with illigitimate interference through an illigitimate process we can do nothing about...

...we're impotent? what happened?

...well, we're going to have to kiss-ass and 'follow the rules' to 'maybe' find out what happened if they let us...

...and probably never hold accountable who really stole our election, invaded our country, who now controls our government and future...

...trump and his handlers will drag their feet as long as it takes, then we'll forget...

...some is wrong, bad wrong...

Did Trump finally get to Mueller?

…directly or indirectly?

...trump's a Republican, Mueller's a Republican...almost daily for two years trump's been lambasting, obstructing and discrediting Mueller and his investigation...and given the background knowledge Mueller must now have, he must know the extent trump will go to extract a heavy personal price for those who infuriate him...

… and there's this...

CNN Politics, 3-22-2019
…………………………..
" The President, with his talent for shifting the terms of a debate, weighed in on the fate of Mueller's yet-to-be-filed final report before heading to Ohio on Wednesday.

"I don't mind. I mean, frankly, I told the House, 'If you want, let them see it,'" Trump said when asked whether the American public had the right to see the fruits of the special counsel's labors. "

...why?...why all of a sudden trump's change of heart, trump's transparency?...could it be he knows what's in the report?...could it be he cut a deal over it's content?...have we been set up?

...it's starting to smell like a white-wash cover-up to me...

...I think I've been MAGAed

Are you ready for the Red Hats?

The Star, 3-14-2019

" WASHINGTON—U.S. President Donald Trump has warned his political opponents of the possibility that they could eventually be confronted by armed Trump supporters in and out of uniform, telling a right-wing website on Monday that “it would be very bad, very bad” if his backers in the military, police and a motorcycle group were provoked into getting “tough.” "

Not worth impeaching?

New York Times, 3-11-2019

" WASHINGTON — Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California, who has played down talk of impeachment for months, ratcheted up her objections to trying to remove President Trump from office in an interview published on Monday. "

" “Impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path, because it divides the country,” she added. “And he’s just not worth it.” "

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/03/11/us/politics/pelosi-trump-impeachment.html

Has there ever been a President more worthy of impeachment? Isn't our country completely divided already? If trump were a Democrat would the Republicans impeach him? Are we giving trump a pass to engender Republican support for needed legislation? Doesn't most Dems feel trump is already impeachable? If Republicans embrace trump why not force them to go to the mat for him? Wouldn't an impeachment unify the Democratic Party?

What do you think of Nancy now?

...I'm disappointed...
