Attorneys: Mississippi Cop Kevin Herrington Said 'I'm Gonna Get That N****r' Before Fatal Chokehold
When Jonathan Sanders, an unarmed black man, died last week in Mississippi while in police custody, it was a racially motivated killing, attorneys representing the victim's family claimed Tuesday.
Officials handling the case either could not be reached for comment or declined to speak, citing the pending investigation.
Sanders, 39, a resident of Stonewall, Mississippi, died last Wednesday after allegedly being placed in a chokehold by Officer Kevin Herrington, attorneys C.J. Lawrence and Chokwe Lumumba told The Huffington Post on Tuesday.
Sanders, who trained horses and was often seen riding around in a horse-drawn buggy, was at a gas station with one of his animals at about 10 p.m. Wednesday when he saw an altercation between Herrington and another white man, whom Sanders knew. According to Lawrence, Sanders approached them and asked Herrington to leave the other man alone.

The Insane Story Behind Trump's Deleted Nazi Tweet
Earlier today, Donald Trump tweeted out a campaign poster featuring what appeared to be men in Nazi uniforms, superimposed over the American flag. The tweet was swiftly deleted, but not before the internet went to work tracking down the original image, sourced to the stock photography website iStock.
Mother Jones can now reveal that the image in question was taken at a World War II reenactment near Kent, England, some time within the last five years, according to its photographer, George Cairns. We reached Cairns by Skype at his home in St Albans, a town just north of London, where he was hanging out playing video games when his Twitter feed started to blow up in response to the Trump story.

Cairns is a British freelance stock photographer and photography instructor who says he frequents war reenactments as good locations to pick up realistic-looking stock images—not just of Nazis, but also of American GIs and other soldiers. Cairns said he didn't know much about Donald Trump beyond the controversy over a golf course the billionaire and GOP presidential contender bought in Scotland last year.

My friend got raped on Wednesday
And she refuses to go to a rape crisis counselor or do anything about it.
The story is she and I went to the neighborhood bar, early on Wed to celebrate my birthday. I left after the right wing morans that habituate the bar in the daytime started in with their "Obama this and that" crap, and said "Now I remember why I never go in this bar"....
It is a place she feels safe and goes there often. Sadly she gets pretty hammered and that is what happened this night. She went out the park across the street and one of the denizens of the park raped her. No more details than that and she told me that I know this person and so does she, but did not expose the identity of the person who raped her.
She feels, and told me this repeatedly last night, that it was her fault for getting so drunk. I told her it wasn't, it was the guys fault, not hers but she doesn't believe it.
She is a very delicate woman too, one who has had her share of mental issues and such and I am very afraid for her right now. She acts like it is something she will get over but I know without help it will never ever happen and she will just spin out of control with drink and drugs (Scripts).
So what do I do? I love her a lot, and she is an amazing person but right now I am very afraid for her.
