Darrel Issa believes Mueller's case against Michael Flynn will be THROWN OUT of court

From the Daily Mail:

- Issa claims the FBI 'tricked' Flynn into not having a lawyer at the 2017 interview;
- US District Judge Emmet Sullivan ordered both the Mueller investigation and Flynn's team to turn over all documents relating to the interview;
- Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about conversations with Russia's then-ambassador to the United States during the presidential transition;
- His lawyers allege FBI bosses pressured him into seeking no counsel before or during the January 2017 interview which ultimately led to his guilty plea;
- Mueller argued that Flynn, a veteran US official, 'does not need to be warned it is a crime to lie to federal agents'.

Thank you for your expert opinion, as expressed to the hard-of-thinking Faux Gnus audience. Only -- in your case -- "expert" had a different definition:
Ex - past, has-been, washed up;
Spurt - a drip under pressure.

The FL Governor race just got a whole lot more interesting!

Got this email from Andrew Gillum’s Campaign:

Our public schools are underfunded and our teachers are underpaid. Last year, our state ranked 47th in average instructional staff pay. Teachers are struggling to make ends meet, and our kids and their education are suffering.

That's why I've proposed a bold new plan to legalize and tax recreational marijuana -- so we can invest new revenue into giving our teachers and instructional staff the raise they deserve. We're going to make sure every teacher and support staff member earns at least the national average, reward our veteran teachers for their years of service, and raise the starting salary for new teachers.

A majority of Floridians support it, and states across the country are modernizing their criminal justice systems by legalizing as well. It's time Florida joins them. Chip in $5 now to help make it a reality.

So I donated to his campaign and picked up a yard sign!

Michelle Wolf's Mind Your Manners: "HEY TIFFANY!"

On her Netflix show, "The Break with Michelle Wolf," she introduced a new segment last night: "Mind Your Manners." In it, she tells how to have the greatest impact when confronting members of the drumpf administration in public.

For instance, when you see Iskanka Drumpf in public, call her "Tiffany!"

" This will devastate her,” Wolf said, adding:
“Then, talk to her in terms she’ll understand. Say, ‘Ivanka, you’re like vaginal mesh. You were supposed to support women, but now you have blood all over you and you’re the center of a thousand lawsuits.’”

30 days to reunite families. Or what? GENERAL STRIKE!

Tuesday night, a federal judge ruled that the current, so-called administration has 30 days to reunite families, even less time for younger children.

The deadline was set Tuesday night by U.S. District Judge Dana Sabraw in San Diego after President Donald Trump’s order ending his policy of separating families gave way to days of uncertainty, conflicting information and no word from the administration on when parents might see their children again.

“This situation has reached a crisis level,” Sabraw wrote.

So, what happens when that deadline passes? Harsh words? Finger wagging, or — dog forbid — fist waving?

Here’s my suggestion, FWIW: we call a general strike. Or — to draw from the example of Mahatma Gandhi — day(s) of prayer and fasting. “Our resistance must be active and provocative!”

Can you imagine a day when we all refuse to show up for work? We refuse to shop or dine out? We refuse to spend a single penny — cash, credit or debit, including on-line transfers, payments, or automated transactions? For that matter, we all stay home, stay off Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and other virtual escapes from reality?

Sure, that’s a sacrifice by 21st Century standards, but consider what’s at stake here. If we could send such an unprecedented, bold message to corporate and governmental overlords, how could they ignore it? Especially if they realize that this is a sample, a preview of what might happen between now and November.

Yes, it would require sacrifice. Getting docked for a day’s pay, missing a visit to Starbucks or other favorite retail stop. But, considering what others are enduring, is it so much to ask?

Let’s put “civil disobedience” into the frame of the civility discussions now underway.

Gandhi, ML King, perhaps even Joshua bar Joseph (AKA Jesus) would look at us in pride.
