Poll: Sanders edging Clinton out in California
Bernie Sanders could pull off a big win in next week's California primary, with a new poll showing him ahead by 1 percentage point.
A USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times poll released Thursday evening shows Sanders leading with 44 percent to Clinton's 43 percent.
Sanders' 1-point lead falls within the poll's margin of error.

Downtown Santa Cruz feels the Bern, rally draws hundreds early
SANTA CRUZ >> At 8 a.m., five hours before the Bernie Sanders rally was scheduled to begin at Kaiser Permanente Arena, the line of supporters stretched down Front Street, around the corner and halfway across the Laurel Street Bridge.
Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will address supporters at 1 p.m. before heading to Monterey County for a news conference near Salinas to address fracking, or hydraulic fracturing, followed by a second rally in Monterey. The Monterey rally will take place at Colton Hall Lawn at 570 Pacific St. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. at Pacific Street and the southern walkway.
As Santa Cruz police directed traffic along Front Street Tuesday morning, supporters lining the sidewalk clutched signs and coffee cups in the thick Central Coast fog, eagerly awaiting their candidates arrival.
Alekz Londos, 35, of Santa Cruz was the first person in line Monday night at 6 p.m. Fourteen hours on the sidewalk had not dampened his enthusiasm.
