Interview with Leading COVID-19 Expert From South Korea

I've been reading a lot of media and checking into the medical side of this.

I thought this was as good an interview on the virus as any I'd seen for the general public.

He covers a lot of the questions.

I searched to see if it had been posted and didn't see that it had.

He provides various scenarios on where this might go.

But he spends some time talking about how one catches this virus. He feels it can get into the air beyond sneezing or coughing and that we should be wearing masks and glasses to avoid getting infected through our eyes.

Those statements check out with anecdotes about how others have spread the infection that I've seen and other medical studies on how viruses get into the air.

Some may have heard too much on this virus and that I completely understand.
For many, this will be time well spent where you might learn something that helps you avoid getting sick or it might be something you send to someone sitting on the fence about taking it seriously.

Stay safe.

Judge Napolitano: Enough Evidence 'to Justify About Three or Four Articles of Impeachment

Another Conservative media member conceding on the articles of impeachment

Napolitano has been going this way for some time.

He still doesn't think Trump will be removed.

If you were Robert Mueller ...

you'd have a highly respected, pristine reputation. A heck of a career:
Purple Heart
Deputy AG
Director of the FBI starting a week before 9/11 ... through many of the Obama years

Tough but fair, decent and honest. A patriot and a hero.

At age 72, your country comes calling again to look into this mess with Trump and the Russians.

The biggest a-hole traitor who has ever sat in the Oval Office has been dragging your name through the mud for a couple of years, smearing you as you tried to do your duty.

With lips sealed, you quietly and diligently go about your job, professionally examining the issues you've been asked to look into with the weight of the country on your shoulders.

President A-hole traitor hires someone for AG who may well have shut you down before you were finished. (looks that way to me).

Adhering to duty, as best as you are able, you go about writing a report of your findings, detailed, thorough, etc. And you submit it and the evidence as you have been asked fulfilling your duties under the law.

And this guy President A-hole traitor hired, usurps your report with a four page summary that doesn't represent what you've said very well nor was he required to do so nor was it a habit under the law or practice for Special Counsels. It's what you are not: political. Because supposed department of justice policy is to not indict a sitting president, you structure your report, as you should, to present the evidence on obstruction of justice so that congress can do their job and assess it. Instead, the jackass AG President A-hole traitor hired chops you and congress off and declares that he finds no obstruction of justice .. before anyone has read 100 words of the work you dedicated two years of your life and reputation on. And the whole country is given a false impression of this most important work you've quietly done without reading a single page of your work.

Wouldn't you be more than a little pissed off?

As Adam Schiff said, that is "not ok"

Like Rachel said, I think there was some back-peddling going on in that Barr letter today.
I think he knew you were going to blow your stack and his jig was up.

Comey: Mueller findings show Trump lied about FBI, his attempt to destroy the agency failed

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/comey-mueller-findings-show-trump-lied-about-fbi-his-attempt-n988196
"I don't think that we've seen in the history of our country, the president try to burn down an institution of justice because he saw it as a threat," Comey said. "And the lies he told, forget about me, the lies he told about the agents of the FBI, 'storm troopers,' the lies he told about Bob Mueller, were terrible."

"But in the long run, the institutions will be fine, because the American people know them and also know this president, know what he's like," Comey added. "I think the people of the United States are going to see what I know about the FBI: These are people who are not in anyone's tribe, they're trying to find the facts."

There is also a very good clip in there of Comey defending the FBI for investigating Trump & Russia.

And that on it's face, he suspects Trump of obstruction of justice in his firing and he goes on to explain several events around that that lead him to that suspicion that he felt the FBI should look into.

I know he's not everyone's favorite after what he did to Hillary. But he gives Trump a fair spanking.

We are not getting the Mueller Report in a few weeks ...

New York Times: Mueller’s Investigation Erases a Line Drawn After Watergate
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/03/26/us/politics/mueller-investigation-watergate.html

Beyond those bottom-line conclusions, Mr. Mueller’s full report has yet to be released, and it remained unclear if it ever would be. House Democrats have demanded that it be sent to them by next Tuesday, but the Justice Department outlined a longer schedule, saying that it will have its own summary ready to send to lawmakers within weeks, though not months.

"the Justice Department ... saying that it will have it's own summary ready to send to lawmakers within weeks"

NY Post:
https://nypost.com/2019/03/26/version-of-mueller-report-will-be-released-to-congress-in-weeks-not-months-barr/
Attorney General William Barr said his version of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report will be released to Congress in “weeks not months,” according to a report Tuesday.

"His version" refers to Barr not Mueller

CBS News:
https://www.cbsnews.com/live-news/mueller-report-william-barr-letter-release-trump-russia-live-updates-2019-03-26/
On Tuesday, the Justice Department confirmed that it will take weeks for Attorney General William Barr to release more information from the report.

"more information" is not Mueller's report.

https://www.dailyrepublic.com/all-dr-news/wires/state-nation-world/barr-plans-to-take-weeks-not-months-to-release-next-mueller-report/
Attorney General William Barr is planning to release his report on Robert Mueller’s probe into President Donald Trump in a matter of weeks, not months, according to a Justice Department official.

"his report" refers to Barr not Mueller.

Barr is going to expand on his four page letter and probably write his own summary of Mueller's report. It's not a redacted copy of Mueller's report. It's effectively Barr's summarized impression of it. Zero assurance of any evidence.

Barr continues to try to deceive, mislead, avoid and drag this out.

The only way we'll see Mueller's report is to win the White House in 2020 or through court.
They're not going to provide Mueller's report willingly.

Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax threatens legal action against conservative website over 'defamatory ...

Source: Richmond Times-Dispatch

and false' sexual assault allegation

Virginia Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax has threatened legal action against a conservative website that aired what Fairfax’s office called a “defamatory and false” sexual assault allegation against him.

Big League Politics, the website that first posted the racist photo from Gov. Ralph Northam’s medical school yearbook page, aired elements of the allegation Sunday night.

In a statement early Monday morning, Fairfax’s office said The Washington Post had already investigated the allegation and chose not to publish a story due to “significant red flags and inconsistencies.”

“Lt. Governor Fairfax has an outstanding and well-earned reputation for treating people with dignity and respect,” read the statement from his office, “He has never assaulted anyone – ever – in any way, shape or form.”

WVTR, a CBS Virginia station also reported this monring
https://wtvr.com/2019/02/04/justin-fairfax-claim/

...
The claim leveled against Fairfax — who was not mentioned by name — came in the form of a Facebook post written by the accuser and shared, with her permission, by a woman in Richmond. CBS 6 News has not yet independently confirmed the accuser wanted her story shared with the public. Some details included in her Facebook post will be added to this story once that confirmation is obtained.

The Lt. Governor’s team indicated this was not the first time the woman has spoken about the alleged assault.

“The person reported to be making this false allegation first approached the Washington Post – one of the nation’s most prominent newspapers — more than a year ago, around the time of the Lieutenant Governor’s historic inauguration,” the statement continued. “The Post carefully investigated the claim for several months. After being presented with facts consistent with the Lt. Governor’s denial of the allegation, the absence of any evidence corroborating the allegation, and significant red flags and inconsistencies within the allegation, the Post made the considered decision not to publish the story.”
...

Last night, when this story started to break, I researched the Big League Politics report. They're the same conservative site that first reported Northam's 1984 yearbook racist photo.

I do not know if it has even reached a "she said - he said" place because the woman has not officially responded. Her Facebook page is shutdown which may be as a result of this ... I'm not sure.

If she does formally make a claim, she's an academic and author who has worked on sexual misconduct - seems to be a reputable and a nice person. She's also been a long standing Democrat supporter which spoils some of the potential conspiracy theories of a right wing hit job. She's black which contradicts potential claims of racist motivation. The person she was communicating with on Facebook also seems reputable.

This may (key word - I'm not positive) have been the subject of Northam's urgent meeting last night. I saw one blog-like report that suggests it might have been.

It is now on the Drudge Report Twitter feed so it is probably just a matter of time before it mushrooms
because it is clearly in the Republicans interest for it to come out.

Republicans control both the House & Senate in Virginia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virginia_General_Assembly
which probably have an impact if both the Gov & Lt Gov have to resign ... might have been the subject of the meeting last night ... I do not know for sure.

Sorry to potentially ruin your morning. We may be looking at more ugliness in Virginia. I suspect we will.

Yes, I think they will get into Trump's finances

Manafort subsequently plead guilty to conspiracy and witness tampering
Cohen subsequently plead guilty to lying to congress

But prior to those:

Manafort VA crimes (8 convictions, plus 10 admissions of guilt):
5 falsifications of income tax returns,
4 failures to file foreign bank account reports,
4 counts of bank fraud, and
5 counts of bank fraud conspiracy

Cohen's crimes he originally plead guilty to
5 counts of tax evasion
1 count of making an excessive campaign contribution,
1 count of causing an unlawful corporate campaign contribution
1 count of making false statements to a federally insured bank

Do you see the pattern?
They're all financial crimes.

Now they've got the Trump Chief Financial Office for decades, Allen Weisselberg, accepting a grant of immunity to spill Trump's financial beans.
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/08/24/longtime-trump-organization-cfo-weisselberg-granted-immunity-in-cohen-probe-dj-citing-sources.html
He is cooperating with delving into Cohen's crimes

Weisselberg also will have to respond to the Trump Foundation lawsuit as Trump's personal piggy bank according to NY State AG
https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/14/politics/new-york-lawsuit-trump-foundation/index.html

Weisselberg will also have to respond to Trump's family empire/entities hit with 30 subpoenas for Emoluments clause investigation. Multiple federal agencies involved.

Mueller has allegedly subpoenaed Deutsche Banks banking records for Trump
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-12-05/deutsche-bank-said-to-be-subpoenaed-by-mueller
Duetsche Bank has connections with Kremlin controlled VTB bank and were fined for money laundering. VTB are alleged to have been in the loop to help finance the Trump tower in Moscow

There are some reports that stated Mueller already had Trump's tax returns.

Here's the point: you can lie about what you might have said to a Russian on the phone or at a dinner but it is much harder to lie about financial transactions because they leave an audit trail.

Follow the money. Robert Mueller has a lot more power to do that than two young Washington Post reporters did for Watergate.

When they couldn't get him on murder, they got Al Capone on tax evasion.
They did something very similar for Manafort and Cohen.

It is inevitable that they're going down this road to get Donald Trump.

State delegates call on Montgomery County police, prosecutor to investigate Kavanaugh allegations

Source: Baltimore Sun

Eleven state delegates from Montgomery County are calling on local police and prosecutors to investigate allegations that U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh committed one or more sexual assaults while a high school student at Georgetown Prep in the 1980s.

In a letter addressed Montgomery County Police Chief Tom Manger, State's Attorney John McCarthy and lawyers Debra Katz and Michael Avenatti, who represent women accusing Kavanaugh of crimes, the lawmakers asked local authorities not to wait for an alleged victim to make a complaint to them before starting an investigation.
....
(Maryland Governor Larry) Hogan said Tuesday that the Senate should slow down Kavanaugh’s nomination process until it conducts a full and fair hearing.

“It’s very disturbing. It gives me great pause. There are credible charges and big concerns. They need to be heard,” he said after an event in Montgomery County. “They ought to take whatever time it takes to make sure these accusers are heard and he has a chance to respond to them.”

If an investigation of the allegations against Kavanaugh were underway by Montgomery County Police, it would increase the pressure on the GOP to pause their confirmation process.
