"Hugh Hefner damaged countless women’s lives. Let’s not pretend otherwise
Civil rights supporter or not, the Playboy icon was a sexual predator, hardly better than Bill Cosby"

Trumps Voter Registration History for those repugs who deny he is a Republican

He ran as a Republican, he won the Republican Nomination for President, he sits in the Oval Office as a Republican. He is a Republican and one whose loyalty is only to himself.

From the Washington Post in November 2015 https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2015/11/07/donald-trumps-got-a-particularly-strange-voting-history/

"And then we introduce Donald Trump. In a weird political world, Trump's voting history probably stands out. Donald Trump first registered to vote at Trump Tower in 1987, a few years after the building was completed. Since then, according to The Smoking Gun, he's been a Republican three times, a Democrat once, a member of the Independence Party once and, for a brief period, had no party identification at all."

"Curious about how often he actually voted, we reached out to New York-based political consulting firm Prime New York which has an updated list of voter behavior in the state. They provided The Post with Trump's history, back to his first registration. During that time, Trump voted in 18 of 28 general elections -- missing seven during the third-year races. He's voted in two of the 11 primaries he could have -- both of those in which he could have voted since 2010. He could have voted in two special elections, too, but didn't."

Is McCain senile or drunk?

He is confusing the Clinton email investigation with the Russian-Trump investigation. He keeps saying Comey when he means to say Trump.

I won't contribute to NPR again

There was an interview with Mara Liasson on NPR this morning. She was truly nasty in her discussion of the Comey scandal. You won't get harsh tone of voice, but here is the end of the piece......

LIASSON: Well, this really is "Back To The Future." The campaign started with the emails. It's ending with the emails. All the threads of the Clintons' 30-year political story seem to be coming together - the penchant for secrecy that led her to choose a private server; her penchant for defensiveness; her tone deafness and the way she initially dealt with this, which only exacerbated her image as dishonest and untrustworthy; and then the sex scandals that always seemed to dog the Clintons and the ongoing investigations that often end up turning something else. So it's all there, the messy drama that seems to always be part of the Clintons' story.

MARTIN: Mara Liasson, thanks so much.

LIASSON: Thank you.

I have never understood why NPR thinks Liasson, who is a FOX-shill, is a value to their operation.

Nina Turner refighting the primary on Brian Williams show

Williams seemed to lose interest when she started doing it.

Stein ad this morning on Morning Joe

The Green Party ran an ad during MJ this morning. Mentions how bad Trump is and then attacks Hillary at length (they are equally disastrous she says). Then says she'll cancel college debt and there will be free health care for all.

From Hullabaloo...Trump has the impulse control of a toddler

On CNN just a few minutes ago:

Jim Geraghty, National Review: This is only going to get worse for Republicans. There is no better Trump behind the curtain waiting to be unveiled sometime. He's not going to get more sensible or more constructive with his words. This is who he is. He has the impulse control of a toddler. And there's no reason to think "oh, by November he'll pull his act together" he'll stop making controversial statements. This is the Trump brand. White nationalism! Why would the Republican party ever want to be associated with this because they'll lose every swing state and every swing district.

“There’ll come a time when the love of country will trump hatred of Hillary”: Lindsey Graham tries to convince Republicans to dump Trump

Graham called Trump's attack on Judge Curiel "the most un-American thing from a politician since Joe McCarthy”
