Food for thought.....what if tRump is removed before November?
You know--if the planets align?
Who will the rethugs run if tRump is gone, and will we still beat them? They would be foolish to run Pence. Bill Weld? I don't think they will get behind Romney, especially if he votes to allow witnesses in the impeachment trial.
I would be very interested to see polls where tRump is taken out of the equation, and, "Any Other Rethuglican" is inserted.
This pretty much explains today's world
The age of Arctic sea ice
95% of the oldest, thickest sea ice has disappeared since 1984.
Who loves you baby? No better welcome than from your dog.
https://www.facebook.com/WoofWoofTV/videos/2209001559403134/A little slow to load, but it put a big smile on my face all the way through. All of our dogs get pretty excited, but the female Pyr starts grinning from 20 ft. away.
The First African American to Receive a Face Transplant.
His Story Could Change Health Care
?
obert Chelsea turned down the first face he was offered. It was a fine face, one that could have taken him off the transplant waiting list after just a couple months. But Chelseaseverely disfigured after a catastrophic car accident five years earlierwas in no hurry. Hed gotten used to tilting his head back so food and water wouldnt fall out of his nearly lipless mouth. He knew how to respond compassionately to children who stared in shock and fear. The face, offered in May 2018, had belonged to a man with skin that was much fairer than what remained of Chelseasso light that Chelsea, who is African American, couldnt bear the thought of becoming a totally different looking person.
Chelseas doctors understood his hesitance. Face transplants in general are rare. Since the first partial one was performed in France in 2005, fewer than 50 have been completed worldwide. A new patient joining the ranks is always noteworthy, but Chelseas case carries even more weight than usual. Because he is the first African American to receive a full face transplant, Chelseas treatment is expected to have ripple effects that transcend his case. Disparities in the medical system that cause black Americans to die at higher rates than whites of so many thingslike heart disease, cancer diabetes and HIV/AIDShave also produced gaps in organ donation and transplantation. Widespread mistrust of the medical system has made many African Americans wary of tissue donation, contributing to donor shortages; in turn, only 17% of black patients awaiting an organ transplant got one in 2015, compared with about 30% of white patients.

Just amazing they're able to do this now. There's another clip at the website about another man that got one.

Surveillance video shows cat taking on trio of coyotes
https://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2020/01/14/cat-against-three-coyotes-pkg-vpx.kcalThis is scary.
I had a mini-doxie in Calif, Cedric, that took on a coyote across the backyard fence early one morning after we'd just turned the dogs out. We heard the big guys going nuts. Ran out to see a big coyote dragging something across the field. Thought it was one of the barn cats, and went running down there. The coyote reluctantly left. It turned out to be Cedric. The coyote had actually dragged him across the fence, and half tore his throat out. Emergency clinic on a weekend, 3 days and $1,500 after, we were able to bring him home with a drain. He always had big knots at his throat after that. But when the coyotes would start howling, he was already the first one to want to run out and take them on. He lived to the ripe old age of 16. I had another one, also in Calif, that took on a rattlesnake. He lost....
Doxies are fearless.
A good time to listen to this speech again
The message is timeless, but oh so pertinent for today.
