Here is Amy McGrath's facebook page. (still looking for a direct email address). Chuck Schumer has been talking to her about running for McConnell's seat in 2020.
Here's more about her:

Here's where she stands on issues:

Here is my post to her. It could help her decide if she hears from a bunch of DU'er's. This is not a KY fight, this is a national battle.
Hi Amy,
PLEASE run in the 2020 senate race against McConnell. We need you badly! When we elect a Democrat as president (and we will), they will by stymied by McConnell's obstruction and partisanship. We cannot allow this country to continue on the current disastrous path.
You would have incredible support nationwide. McConnell polls in the low 30's in KY. You can beat him!

These Animal Moms Deserve a Happy Mother's Day
Mothers Day is upon us. And while we celebrate our human moms, lets also give some credit to the other mothers on this planet who go to some extreme lengths to nurture and protect their babies. Here are five species whose impressive moms deserve a happy Mothers Day.

A US judge sentenced teenage vandals to read books. This is what happened next
Juvenile crime presents a challenge for judicial systems the world over. Are severe punishments for delinquent behaviour the answer, or should lawmakers and judges focus on more progressive policies to help young people turn their lives around?
Alejandra Rueda, a prosecutor and deputy commonwealth attorney in Loudoun County, Virginia, clearly believes in the latter.
Two years ago, Rueda was faced with the case of five boys aged 16 and 17 who admitted spraying racist graffiti - including swastikas - on a historic 19th-century schoolhouse.
The schoolhouse had special significance because it was the former Ashburn Colored School, which was attended by black children during segregation in Northern Virginia. The local community was outraged by the attack but Rueda wanted to know more about why the teenagers had done it.
None had been in trouble before and she realised they did not fully appreciate the significance of the symbols and language they had used.
Unusual sentence
So she persuaded judge Avelina Jacob to accept her plan based on a list of 35 books, including The Color Purple by Alice Walker, Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe and To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Each young offender was ordered to choose 12 from the list and write a monthly essay about each of their chosen texts.
Some writers were not convinced by the sentence. Speaking to the The New York Times, Marilyn Nelson, whose poem about the murder of a black teenager, A Wreath for Emmett Till, was not included, asked: Will kids punished by being made to read poetry ever read poetry again?
The boys also had to visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the National Museum of American History's exhibition about the internment of Japanese-Americans during the Second World War. They then completed a final essay about what they had learned.

Bobcat Who Survived California Wildfire Now Mom to 4 Kittens
The devastating Woolsey wildfire in Southern California last fall burned nearly 100,000 acres, destroying most of the habitat of the bobcats, mountain lions and other wildlife that live in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Almost 90 percent of the acreage in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area (SMMNRA), a unit of the National Park Service, burned during the fire, the most damage its endured in recorded history.
Amazingly, 12 of 13 mountain lions that SMMNRA biologists had tagged survived the fire, but burn injuries apparently later led to the death of P-64, a mountain lion whod gained fame by successfully crossing busy Los Angeles area freeways at least 40 times.
Much more fortunate than P-64 is a female bobcat known as B-362. In eerie timing, biologists in Thousand Oaks tagged her just one day before the Woolsey fire started on Nov. 8, 2018. B-362 not only managed to survive the wildfire that obliterated her habitat, but she was able to find a new home not far away in Westlake Villagein a rather unlikely place, however.
Using very-high-frequency radio telemetry and GPS information from B-362′s collar, SMMNRA biologists were able to locate the bobcat earlier this month, deep in the vegetation of a large residential backyard. B-362 wasnt alone there. She had recently given birth to a healthy litter of four kittens.
She chose a den in thick brush where she could keep her kittens safe, Joanne Moriarty, a biologist who hass studied bobcats in SMMNRA for over 15 years, said in a news release.
