Stranger Things...

I saw the first season when it came out and wasn't available to watch the second season when it came out several months ago. So, I just started watching the first season again. It's pretty. pretty. good....

I'm going to try to hit 2000 posts today.....

....just a little background....I've been with DU since the VERY beginning---around the 2000 sElection. I started off as Lindsey - then something happened to my computer and I had to re-register and I became Nirvana555- and then something happened to my computer again and I became who I am now....ergo my low post count...I was never a REAL big op'er but I've always been active and have checked out DU mostly every day. I started a new job five weeks ago and really like it but there's pressure. So I think I'm going to lay here on my bed with my fan blowing on me while I binge watch and get caught up (right now I'm watching "Better Call Saul.&quot . That's all!

I have a question about what's considered "standard" in today's work

environment: Do employers normally give two weeks vacation after one year? I realize, of course, there are many variables but I'd just appreciate some general feedback. I know a lot it depends on the industry. Let's just say I'm talking about a middle size company in middle america at, let's say, a real estate company....

Can someone direct me regarding getting

satellite radio for my car (or what I'd need for podcasts)? I'm starting a new job on Monday (Yea!!!!) that I'm very excited about. Having said that, it's going to be quite a commute (from Redondo Beach to The Valley). I LOVE good radio, podcasts, etc. so I'm totally okay with the drive. I just need to know what I need to do/get. My car is a 2007 Honda Accord. I know I could google it but I thought someone here might know the first step I could take without me having to reinvent the wheel....Thank you
