About Me
I've been a member of DU since the very beginning....after that horrible fiasco - the sElection of 2000. My first user name was Lindsey, then I changed it to Nirvana555, and now it's Upthevibe. I had devices crash and I ended up having to change my user name. I've never been one to make a whole lot of original posts, but I consider myself a very active member in that I come to DU almost every day and read the wonderfully informative threads. I can't imagine what life would have been like over the past two decades without DU!

My 6000th post!
I'm so thankful for the DU community!
I've been here since the beginning but due to computer crashes this is my third username. I started off as lindsey and then was nirvanna555. I've come to this site almost every day since it began. Thank you! 
I'm also posting an episode of the wonderful podcast, Smartless (with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes) from October 13, 2022 (before the midterms) with our wonderful President Joe Biden. |

I'm sincerely asking DU'ers to NOT post that specific candidates
have won or lost based on Twitter (unless the info. is being tweeted from reputable sources)!
It's frustrating to me and then gets my hopes up only to see it's not an "Official" projection. My sense is that it's frustrating to others' as well.....

Calling on California Peggy (or other knowledgeable Californians)!!!!!!!!!!!Help.....
Some friends and I are unsure about the following State Judicial Justices:
John L. Segal - Yes or No? John Shepard Wiley Jr. - Yes or No? Elizabeth Annette Grimes - Yes or No? Do you know about them? Or, if you have a link to a progressive site that would help too (I'm having some trouble figuring out some of the props too). Thanks for any help you can give
