Rape Is The Will Of God.....?

Women should get as far away from Oklahoma as soon as possible because Christian Sharia law is about to make their lives a living hell.

If Oklahoma state GOP Rep. George Faught has his way, rape will be on the path to being legal in the state. At least that’s what rapists are hoping for after Faught made a frightening statement on the subject during a debate on House Bill 1549, which restricts abortion.

Democratic Rep. Cory Williams masterfully cornered Faught during the hearing by asking him if he believes rape and incest are the “will of God” since the legislation has no exceptions for either, meaning women would be forced to give birth to their rapist’s baby.

Faught’s reply is absolutely appalling and demonstrates once again why women should never vote for Republicans, especially Republicans who want to base our laws on the Bible.

Old codgers scare Rep Labrador staff

A spokesman for U.S. Rep. Raul Labrador's office in Lewiston has filed a complaint alleging a threat from a group of local citizens who routinely visit congressional offices.

Scott Carlton reported the issue to the U.S. Capitol Police early last month. Carlton, who works out of the congressman's downtown Lewiston office, declined to comment when contacted by the Tribune and referred all questions to Doug Taylor, Labrador's spokesman in Meridian, Idaho.

The citizen group, LC Valley Indivisible, is comprised of mostly older residents of the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley, according to its members. The organization is loosely affiliated with the national Indivisible groups that call for town hall meetings with members of Congress to raise issues regarding President Donald Trump's administration.

LC Valley Indivisible members have visited the offices of Labrador and Sens. Mike Crapo and James Risch weekly. Staff with the senators' offices have not reported any issues with the group/Chelsea Embree, Lewiston Tribune.

Trump's claim of fleeing doctors rings false

Making the case for a Republican repeal and replacement of his predecessor's health care law, President Donald Trump reached for a dire-sounding argument that's unsupported by the data.

"Many of our best and brightest are leaving the medical profession entirely because of Obamacare," Trump told his audience at a Monday night rally in Louisville, Kentucky.

In fact, the number of doctors in the U.S. actively caring for patients grew from 799,501 in 2010, when the Affordable Care Act was signed into law, to 860,939 in 2015, according to the Association of American Medical Colleges. The American College of Physicians, which represents internists, the largest specialty, says its enrollment of new doctors has increased every year since 2012. The American Academy of Family Physicians has seen its membership grow from 94,620 to 124,900 since 2008.

While there are anecdotes about doctors dropping out, "we see no significant number exiting related to the Affordable Care Act," said Dr. Atul Grover, executive vice president of the medical colleges association. "There is also no evidence of a declining interest in medicine since the ACA took effect."

women wore Handmaid's Tale robes in the Texas Senate

On the Texas Senate floor Monday, about a dozen women protested an abortion ban by dressing up as characters from The Handmaid’s Tale, a dystopian novel in which women have no rights and are routinely forced to give birth against their will.

The bill that the women were protesting passed the Texas state Senate on Monday, and now moves to the state House. If the bill becomes law, it will effectively ban second-trimester abortions in Texas — or force doctors to use riskier methods to perform them.

The bill would do this by banning the safest and most common method of performing an abortion in the second trimester, dilation and evacuation (D&E). This procedure is used in about 95 percent of second-trimester abortions in the US. Texas doctors who violate the ban would face felony charges.

county suspends worker who said prosecutor should be lynched for refusing to seek death penalty

A public servant sparked a Facebook flap for saying Florida's first African-American state prosecutor should be lynched for refusing to pursue the death penalty against an alleged cop killer.

The Seminole County Clerk of Court suspended Stan McCullars — with pay — after the assistant finance director thumbed an offensive remark about Orange-Osceola State Attorney Aramis Ayala on the Orlando Sentinel's Facebook page.

The embattled employee said Alaya should be "tarred and feathered if not hung from a tree" for protesting capital punishment in the Markeith Loyd case, according to a screenshot shared by the Sentinel on Monday.

complaint filed with the Office of Congressional Ethics against Rep. Gowdy

snip

On Tuesday afternoon, a complaint was filed with the Office of Congressional Ethics against Rep. Gowdy, requesting an investigation into the South Carolina congressman “…for accepting $6,000 in political action committee contributions from Anti-Hillary Clinton groups while investigating her.”

The ethics complaint, filed by the Democratic Coalition Against Trump, details how the three $2,000 contributions came from conservative groups affiliated with Stop Hillary PAC – a group that also “…spent [an additional] $10,000 directly in support of Rep. Gowdy.”

Gowdy took payment from these groups in 2015 – while he was the Chairman of the Select Committee investigating the former Secretary of State. He tried to defuse the situation in October of that year by returning the donations in question ahead of a Washington Post story exposing them. Stop Hillary PAC caused an embarrassing scandal days earlier when they aired this Benghazi-themed ad during the Democratic Presidential Debate, one that politicized the deaths of the 4 fallen American heroes.

I told you God's not through with you

Apparently Tillerson's wife talks directly to God/gods. I thought there were pills for that?

Tillerson: 'I didn't want this job ... My wife told me I'm supposed to do this'

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has revealed that he didn't seek his current role in the U.S. administration and only accepted the job after being convinced by his wife.

"I didn't want this job. I didn't seek this job," he told the Independent Journal Review in an interview during his recent Asia trip which was published on Wednesday.

"My wife told me I'm supposed to do this," he added.

His words come just hours before diplomats from around the world are due to meet at the State Department for a meeting to discuss how to defeat the so-called Islamic State. In the wide-ranging interview, the former chief executive of Exxon Mobil also explained that he had never met President Donald Trump before the election.

Advertisers seek more control after unintended Breitbart spots

Some advertisers are working overtime to scrub their spots from websites including Breitbart News, an unintended consequence of the automated ad buying systems that are meant to lower costs and allow for more targeted advertising.

Those trying to keep their ads off certain websites are finding they must take steps to verify the spots they bid for are where ads actually appear and that there are no third parties involved that can result in ads winding up in unintended places.

Breitbart News, once run by U.S. President Donald Trump's chief strategist Steve Bannon and popular with the alt-right, a loose grouping characterized by a rejection of mainstream politics that includes neo-Nazis and anti-Semites, has become a particular concern for some advertisers and the automated exchanges they work with.

While the exact number of advertisers that have blacklisted Breitbart is unknown, Sleeping Giants, an anonymous group campaigning on Twitter against companies advertising on the website, puts the number higher than 1,500.

Russian mafia boss still at large after FBI wiretap at Trump Tower

There, indeed, was an FBI wiretap involving Russians at Trump Tower.

But it was not placed at the behest of Barack Obama and the target was not the Trump campaign of 2016. For two years ending in 2013, the FBI had a court-approved warrant to eavesdrop on a sophisticated Russian organized crime money laundering network that operated out of unit 63A in Trump Tower.

The FBI investigation led to a federal grand jury indictment of more than 30 people, including one of the world’s most notorious Russian mafia bosses, Alimzhan Tokhtakhounov. Known as the “Little Taiwanese,” Tokhtakhounov was the only target to slip away, and he remains a fugitive from American justice.

Five months after the April 2013 indictment and after Interpol issued a “red notice” for Tokhtakhounov, the fugitive appeared near Donald Trump in the VIP section of the Moscow Miss Universe pageant. Trump had sold the Russian rights for Miss Universe to a billionaire Russian shopping mall developer.
