I saw her one-woman show, "Wishful Drinking," at the notorious former disco space, Studio 54, in 2009. Of course, she spent a lot of time there in the '70s. A LOT of time.

To open the show, she reminisced about the wild days gone by at 54, glanced up at the balcony, where I was sitting in the front row, and said, "Wow! That's the first time I've looked up there and haven't seen a bunch of people fucking!"
