You know, it surely seems odd, all these

KGOPers “not seeking re-election” I mean certainly the writing is on the wall regarding the political climate they are in with the majority of their constituents that they have shafted, still, it is as if they are getting legal advice to step down NOW. Or, perhaps they are being otherwise advised that it would be in their best interest to exit due to the possibility of accountability in some circumstances they may have been involved in, hypothetically speaking of course. Either way, and whatever is driving these departures, I don’t believe for a second these 30+ Republicans would be leaving on their own. I mean, no way, they just decided nonchalantly for no serious reason to leave in droves. It’s as if their hands are tied or they’re being somehow convinced to go NOW. Something and/or someone behind the scenes is working to motivate these resignations.

What a curiosity this is.

James Carville called it on Nov 8, 2016

I cannot yet find a video clip but I recall watching “election” coverage 11/8/16 and in the wee hours when it was called for tRump I remember hearing James Carville say, “it’s a coup, it’s a g—damn coup” I think that’s what he exclaimed.

Anyone else recall this? Have a transcript or video clip?

I was thinking today that James Carville called it first; meaning he is the first one I recall using the word “coup” maybe he said “coup d’etat” but definitely “coup” and he made such an impression on me that the word was imprinted, like indelibly stamped in my mind. That night I wasn’t clear what he meant but over these past months it became more distinct and certainly it is crystal clear now.

I found this

Carville Blows Up On MSNBC Anchor: Our Democracy Is Under Assault By Comey, The KGB And Republicans

So American democracy is really under attack here. And the question is how are we and in particular and how are Democrats going to respond to this. We have to understand this is really, really quite extraordinary. And it would seem to me that the FBI shouldn’t be getting rolled by the House Republicans and that’s what happened here. There is nothing going on and in the meantime we do know that our democracy is under assault by the KGB. To me, that’s something we ought to be talking about. That’s a relevant issue in this campaign. And people have to decide do we want our country for ourselves with the people in charge or are we going to elect the the KGB and the House Republicans to decide this election.

It seems Carville has been vindicated.

Has anyone here seen this

I just found it today. It seems to have lots of info. I looked at the board members, the glossary of relevant terms, timelines, investigations, and more.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts about it. Perhaps it isn’t new to you?

I figured out the Russian adoption angle that

the Trumps claimed to be discussing.

Tonight I watched The Eleventh Hour with Brian Williams and one segment was about Russian women paying toncome here, stay at one of Trump’s real estate locations and give birth so that the babies are American citizens who can get a green card for their Russian parents to come here when the baby reaches 21.

Hmm. I don’t believe there was ever any legit conversation about Russian adoptions by the Trumps btw. Still, interesting.

According to the reporting on the show there’s an organization called “Miami Mommas” where these Russian women can pay to come here. They even showed DonTheCon speaking against this type of birth citizenship in the past.

Republicans should retire en masse instead

of these separate announcements. I mean, I’m grateful to see each and every one of the current corrupt Republicans leave, cannot happen soon enough, but apparently many of them are jumping ship, um, er, uh, retiring and if they just did it all together it would streamline things.

Of course I’m being facetious here and of course each one leaving will want their own announcement, press coverage, fanfare, whatever...

I’m guessing there will be many more Republicans exiting congressional stage right practically hourly in the days and weeks ahead. You know, to “spend more time with family” or for “ personal reasons” blah blah blah
