JPPaverage's JournalWhy we decided to put the kid in online schooling
We have a 13 year old daughter (step for me) and as of Wednesday, she's going to finish out the school year doing online classes.
Her best friend is a boy who is a smaller kid and has come out as gay. He was getting picked on by some other kids. He went to the office and it didn't faze the other kids. They kept bullying him and not only made him cry, he started staying home from school and would not leave the house according to his parents. The bullies naturally called him a slur that guys often get called and one kid shoved him and kicked him when he was down. My daughter said. "Enough is enough" and punched the kicking kid. From what I gathered, she actually bloodied his nose. Naturally she got a 3 day suspension.
I do not question the duty of the school to suspend her, but this bullying needs to stop. The school did nothing to stop it so TJO, my daughter, decided that she would end it. So, TJO and her friend are now both online students until next school year. And she may go to another school if the situation doesn't improve at her home school.
Oh yeah, the bullies dad threatened me and my kid. He had a trump sticker on his truck. I laughed at him and asked if he liked jail because if he laid a hand on me, that's where he'd be going. He just sputtered and sped away.
I noticed gas prices down earlier today
At least at the station I went to. I don't suppose we'll hear about that in the msm though. I also heard that the "supply chain" problem seems to have abated. We won't hear much about that either. And if we do, it'll be due to something the repukes did.
