Seasider's JournalI thought I had seen it all with wacky right-wing anti-feminists
My wife unfortunately enjoys watching a YouTube channel called Triggernometry. Theyre a couple of British guys trying to pass themselves off as funny cool conservatives if there is such a thing.
So they decide to bring on Pearl Davis who I was not previously familiar with. But my goodness she had some of the most backward ideas ranging from men should be allowed to beat a woman if she hit first to women should not be able to vote. Im aware most Conservatives dont share those views but this is unfortunately the type of rhetoric that Trumpism has encouraged.
Huckabee Thinks She's Still Working For Trump
Fareed Zakaria nails it on Biden's vaccine rollout success
Obviously there's still a lot of work to be done to combat Covid but the fact that the national conversation has changed to the possibility that there's light at the end of the tunnel is huge 180 from where we were last fall with this thing. Leadership matters.

Bill Maher embarrasses himself by inviting dark web peddling podcasters on his show
I get that he wants ratings but the fact that he was pushing the wuhan lab theory which was widely discredited by scientists.

Nice 60 minutes video on rising Healthcare costs feating HHS Secretary nominee Xavier Becerra
It's no wonder Republican Senators are all up in arms over Becerra. I mean how dare the guy go after corrupt Hospital monopolies like Sutter Health.

Well written CNN opinion piece highlights just how badly Trump has divided friends and families.
It kind of hits home for me as my own mother and some siblings are a huge Trump lovers. We still get along fine but I haven't been invited to Thanksgiving dinner since 2016 and we don't mingle as much as we once did. Trump is a major cancer to American society on so many levels. The sooner he leaves office, the better.

My Biden cabinet picks
I had a thread a few months back that somehow got deleted but now that it's official, I've updated my list of possible candidates. I realize some of these are long shots.

Pitsbugh-Post Gazette edorsement of Trump is just laughingly bad
This was apparently their 1st endorsement of a Republican Presidential candidate since 1972. Their conclusion is basically, yeah we know Trump is a jerk and imbecile but the economy was doing great before Covid and he kept all his promises (cough..build the wall..healthcare...cough cough). They can't support Biden cause he's gonna raise taxes and he's too old and won't make it through his first term but Trump is old too but hey he's got Pence to fall back on. Really guys?
I personally had never heard of this newspaper but some of my Republican friends were all excited about it this morning. Hopefully, voters in the Pittsburgh area don't listen to these idiots.

I wish these media personalities would get over their 2016 PTSD anxiety
You got S.E Cupp on CNN posting a video inaccurately stating how Hillary had double digit lead at this stage in the election and then Michael Moore saying the polls are wrong because these "shy Trump voters" are skewing the numbers because they don't trust the deep state.
What these people forget is the majority of polls taken just before the election were within the margin of error so even if they weren't dead on accurate, they were fairly close. Of course anything is possible and Trump could still win but people need to stop trying to make the flawed case that we're in the same situation as we were in 2016. No, we are not.

After watching Jonathan Swift expose Ted Cruz's hypocrisy
I'm starting to be convinced that NBC needs to fire Chuck Todd and give this guy the Meet The Press gig. He's one the of the few interviewers I've seen who didn't let Trump push him around simply by asking relevant follow up questions.
