msdogi's JournalKavanaugh approval might be good for our side in the midterms
At least that's what I'm telling myself. Anger could help get more Democratic voters to the polls, and make more repugs complacent.
We will see.
Endless scandals, criminality, and evil
This is so exhausting, every day is filled with non stop disasters and outrages. Remember when the biggest problem was how to get all the people who were finally getting health care signed up? When we had a president who made us proud?
Not sure if it will be Mueller or the midterms that will get us back on a good path, or if either will...
Very scary times
Mueller?
Know the cacophony of horror is overwhelming, have i missed any hopeful news from the Mueller probe? Are the mid-terms our best and only hope?
I do see some repugs sort of saying no to the festering slime, but not many.
Who would of thought this was where we would be?
A *president involved with a porn star, his personal attorney raided by the FBI, conjecture and rumors running wild, and for a lot of us, this is really hopeful news, the first in a very long time.
We all knew he would be a disaster after he was "elected", but think we had no idea of the magnitude and reach of the criminality, corruption and evil. And the Republicans in Congress are fine with all of it.
I miss not being outraged on a daily basis
Remember when we didn't get up every morning in fear of what fresh horror this freak show of an "administration" would inflict on us?
When our kids didn't go to school every day worried about getting shot? When guns were not a fear for so many of us?
When the best news of the day wasn't the latest subpoenas/ indictments/criminal investigation aimed at our highest levels of government?
I look for rays of hope every day, and it's there. Election victories, Mueller seemingly moving ahead, and most of all, this new generation of soon to be voters. I am so grateful for them, their energy, fearlessness, and goodness are so inspiring.

A man of peace has passed
Landrum Bolling, my neighbor's ex father-in-law. He stayed in our guest house years ago, a most gracious and kind man.

Thanks to DU
For being my place of sanity when I am ready to explode with anger and frustration with the daily onslaught of crimes against our country. I can always find some morsel of hope, and good stuff, along with fresh reasons for outrage.
Great community here, wish I could give you all hearts!
