I live in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, which is adjacent to Butler County. I experienced NO DELAY in receiving or sending my ballot. In both directions my ballot was received the next day after sending via U.S. Mail.

HARRISBURG Potentially thousands of mail ballots requested by Butler County voters appear to be lost, a county official said Wednesday, and the U.S. Postal Service has been asked to immediately investigate what happened to them.
A USPS spokesperson, meanwhile, said the agency is unaware of any significant delays or issues and is in regular contact with the Board of Election as we work to locate and deliver ballots as they are presented to us.
As of Tuesday, Pennsylvania voters are no longer able to apply for an absentee or mail-in ballot.
Nearly 40,000 registered voters in the county requested mail ballots. So far, only 24% of them have been returned to the county, by far the lowest rate among the states 67 counties. The county with the next-lowest return rate, Fayette, has received 50% of requested ballots.

Let's put our heads together - we need a new concept
What should we call the former Chump voters who have seen the error of their vote in 2016. They're not born again, but maybe they've come over to the good guys? Or maybe they've been liberated?
We should have a term for these people.

I've blocked 5 people on DU since 8 o'clock this morning
I feel pretty good about it too!
Anybody who isn't for our Party, anybody who secretly admires Chump, anybody who hints they aren't all in for Biden & Harris - they're getting blocked. Time's too precious to waste on fools and idiots.

Gov. Tom Wolf D-PA hits back after judge rules against virus restrictions
Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf vowed Tuesday he wouldnt heed the irresponsible demands of President Donald Trump and Republicans in the state Legislature concerning the coronavirus response, hitting back hard after a federal judge appointed by Trump ruled many of Wolfs pandemic shutdown orders were unconstitutional.
In unusually sharp language, the Democratic governor accused Mr. Trump and Republicans who control the Legislature of promoting conspiracy theories and spreading misinformation about the virus and the status of the Pennsylvania economy, which he said is reopened despite the mitigation measures he has imposed.
I believe the vast majority of Pennsylvanians understand what we had to do in the beginning was necessary to buy the time to keep people safe before we got the capacity we needed to address this virus, Mr. Wolf said. And the vast majority simply dont buy into the conspiracy theories or fear mongering from the president or from the Harrisburg Republicans about this virus.
Mr. Wolf spoke at a news conference in York one day after U.S. District Judge William Stickman IV in Pittsburgh invalidated key parts of his administrations early pandemic response, including his orders requiring people to stay at home and shuttering thousands of businesses deemed non-life-sustaining.
Mr. Wolf had since eased many of the restrictions the plaintiffs objected to in their lawsuit, but Judge Stickman also ruled against the states current size limits on indoor and outdoor gatherings.
The governors lawyers were preparing an appeal.

Huge chunk of Greenland's ice cap breaks off, to climate scientists' dismay
COPENHAGEN, Denmark An enormous chunk of Greenlands ice cap has broken off in the far northeastern Arctic, a development that scientists say is evidence of rapid climate change.
The glacier section that broke off is 42.3 square miles (110 square kilometers). It came off of the fjord called Nioghalvfjerdsfjorden, which is roughly 50 miles (80 km) long and 12 miles (20 km) wide, the National Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland said Monday.
The glacier is at the end of the Northeast Greenland Ice Stream, where it flows off the land and into the ocean.
Annual end-of-melt-season changes for the Arctics largest ice shelf in Northeast Greenland are measured by optical satellite imagery, the survey known as GEUS said. It shows that the areas ice losses for the past two years each exceeded 19 square miles (50 square km).

University of Pittsburgh scientists make antibody discovery for COVID-19
Scientists at the University of Pittsburgh have taken a major step toward a potential drug treatment for COVID-19.
Pitt School of Medicine researchers discovered the smallest biological molecule to date that completely and specifically neutralizes the SARS-CoV-2 virus, according to a report published Monday in the journal Cell.
The scientists reported that a tiny antibody component 10 times smaller than a full-sized antibody can be used to create a therapeutic and preventative drug called Ab8 and found it to be highly effective in preventing the SARS-CoV-2 in mice and hamsters.
The molecules tiny size could be advantageous for its movement through the bodys tissues to neutralize the virus and for administering the drug for example, through inhalation, according to the university.
