*I am posting this on behalf of my son who has asked me to spread the word of how the Nintendo corporation is working against the best interest of the competitive community. (By the way, this guy in the video is not my kid, just someone he follows)

Trump's Transition-Blocking GSA Boss Finally Tweeted And It Was Weird As Hell

(HuffPost) General Services Administration chief Emily Murphy, who has refused to authorize the transition process for President-elect Joe Biden, fired off her first tweet in nearly two weeks on Wednesday and it wasn’t what anyone was expecting.

The tweet was ultimately deleted.

President Donald Trump appointed Murphy to the administrator position in 2017. As head of the GSA, she is expected to deliver an apolitical ascertainment naming the “apparent successful candidate” of the presidential election, which in turn begins the process of the transition of power. To date, Murphy has refused to do so despite Biden’s 306-232 win in the Electoral College and a lead of nearly 6 million ballots in the popular vote.

Murphy has not spoken publicly about her decision, leaving many Twitter critics to guess at what her enigmatic tweet meant:

Trumps to spend Thanksgiving at White House instead of traveling to Florida

(The Hill) President Trump and first lady Melania Trump will not travel to Florida to spend Thanksgiving at Mar-a-Lago this year, marking a break with tradition for the first family as the president refuses to accept defeat in the 2020 election.

Stephanie Grisham, the chief of staff for the first lady, tweeted that Melania Trump and the president will celebrate Thanksgiving at the White House.

While the White House had not formally announced travel plans, the first family was expected to spend the holiday at the president's Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach. The Trumps had spent each of the past three Thanksgiving holidays there.

But Trump has receded from public view in the two weeks since Election Day and after Joe Biden was projected as president-elect. Trump has made only a few public appearances in the time since, communicating largely through Twitter to spread false claims about the integrity of the vote.

Already flooded, South Florida feeling wrath of Eta

(ABC News) Tropical Storm Eta is posing serious threat to South Florida, where torrential rains are falling on already saturated areas and the water has no place to go .

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -Torrential rain from Tropical Storm Eta caused dangerous flooding across Florida's most densely populated urban areas on Monday after it made landfall in the Florida Keys. Cars were stranded and entire neighborhoods were swamped as flash floods rose in areas where the water had no place to drain.

The system’s wide reach and heavy rains posed a serious threat across South Florida, an area already drenched from more than 14 inches (350 millimeters) of rain last month. Eta could dump an additional 6 to 12 inches (150 to 300 millimeters), forecasters said. “In some areas, the water isn’t pumping out as fast as it’s coming in,” warned Miami Dade Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz. Eta’s center hit land late Sunday as it blew over Lower Matecumbe, in the middle of the chain of small islands that form the Florida Keys. It was moving into the Gulf of Mexico early Monday near where the Everglades meet the sea, with maximum sustained winds of 65 mph (100 kph). It was centered south of Naples, moving west-northwest at 13 mph (20 kph).

Forecasters said it could re-intensify into a minimal hurricane as it slowly moves up the southwest Gulf Coast, centered just far enough offshore to maintain its strength while dumping vast amounts of water across the lower third of the Florida peninsula.

Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis called it a 100-year rain event, drenching already saturated streets. City officials dispatched some 24 tanker trucks with giant vacuums to soak up water from the past few weeks, but many were being pulled off the roads as conditions worsened overnight.
