Just a rant about SIL who refuses to mask up or get the vaccine.

My wife who is recovering from Stage 4 Lymphoma, sent a last resort text to her son today. She begged him to get vaccinated so that she would not lose him to Covid. He lives in Florida...nuff said.

He flat out refused.

It is one of the most selfish acts that I have ever experienced. He is worrying his mother to no end. She is so afraid that she will never see her son again. Just fucking selfish. I am so angry with him and will all the others that refuse the vaccine for NO fucking reason.

Rant over here, but still angry as HELL.

Mississippi Asks Supreme Court to Overrule Roe v. Wade

I don't know if this is news. I just read it today.

Mississippi's attorney general told the Supreme Court on Thursday that Roe v. Wade was "egregiously wrong" and should be overturned as she urged the justices to allow a controversial law that bars most abortions after 15 weeks to go into effect.
"The conclusion that abortion is a constitutional right has no basis in text, structure, history, or tradition" state Attorney General Lynn Fitch told the justices in a new brief, launching the opening salvo in the most important abortion-related dispute the court has heard in decades.
Fitch said that the case for overruling Roe is "overwhelming."
