Trump's Farewell Speech

Can you come up with a better one? LOL

Hello to one-quarter of the American people, my loyal base, and to half the residents of The Villages in Florida, those in golf carts. During the past four years as your president, I have done more than any president in the history of the United States to protect our values and heritage. My criminal justice reform bill did more for black Americans than Abraham Lincoln ever did with that Emancipation Proclamation. My tax bill skyrocketed the economy by even more bigly margins than FDR’s New Deal thing. I have done more for the Indians and their casinos than the great President Andrew Jackson. This was all B.C.—before corona, of course.

In my first term, I have accomplished every policy and cultural agenda item I promised, and torn apart the libs, the snowflakes, the climate-change wimps, the feminazis, antifa, and the looters even more than I thought possible.

However, in the many years my doctor says I definitely have left in my life—at a very fine weight, with numbers that I assume would look beautiful if I could see them before stepping off the scale—there are two guiding imperatives that many people are calling on me to achieve. It has become clear to me that my unfinished crusade is to go forth and destroy the deep state and the fake news media who have tried to undermine your president at every turn. They are the only thing preventing us from finally making America fully Great Again and putting America First. And I believe I can win this fight best from the airwaves rather than the Oval Office. I mean, what’s more real than reality TV?

Therefore, I will pass the baton off to Mike and his running mate Nikki Haley, who’s always said nice things about me no matter what. They will be accepting the Republican nomination for president and vice president in Jacksonville in just a few days.

Its fitting that her name is Karen: Adidas Exec: Discussions about racism is "noise"

Adidas executive who described racism discussions as ‘noise’ is stepping down

Adidas’ global head of human resources, Karen Parkin, is leaving the company less than a month after a group of employees reportedly asked the company to investigate her for alleged racial discrimination.

“It has become clear to me that to unify the organization it would be better for me to retire and pave the way for change,” Parkin said in a written statement.

Parkin came under fire last year after she told employees at a meeting that she thought the topic of racism was “noise” that is only discussed in the United States, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal. She also told employees she didn’t think Adidas had an issue with racism, the report stated.

Her prior controversial statements reported by the Journal came shortly after a New York Times investigation that found less than 5% of employees at Adidas North American headquarters identify as Black. The few Black people who worked there expressed feeling marginalized by their employer, which routinely markets itself using famous Black designers and brand ambassadors like Beyoncé and Kanye West.

They've also used Rihanna and Kobe in the past and made a whole lot of money putting those famous black faces as the face of Adidas.

A New Low': Elijah McClain's Family Reacts To Photos Of Cops 'Re-enacting' Chokehold Death

WTF is wrong with these people?

The family of Elijah McClain is calling out the Aurora police after a weekend of violence and photos that are shockingly insensitive, according to reports.

According to CBS Denver, three Aurora cops are under investigation for snapping inappropriate photos during the memorial for McClain, who died in August 2019 after police put him in a carotid restraint, otherwise known as a chokehold.

CBS4 investigator Brian Maass reported on Monday that multiple sources “say the photos were disseminated” within the Aurora police department “to other officers and showed the officers reenacting the hold that preceded McClains death.”

Late Monday night, the police department’s interim police chief, Vanessa Wilson, released a statement saying:

“Thursday afternoon, I was apprised of allegations reported to Internal Affairs by an Aurora Police Officer alleging multiple Aurora Police officers were depicted in photographs near the site where Elijah McClain died. All involved officers were immediately placed on administrative leave with pay in non-enforcement capacities.”

Wilson went on to say that an accelerated investigation was completed on Monday. “This investigation will be publicly released in its entirety promptly upon its conclusion. This will include reports, photographic evidence obtained, officer’s names, and my final determination which can rise to the level of termination.”

“Just when we thought the Aurora Police could not be any worse, they somehow find a new low,” reads their statement. “This is a department where officers tackled an innocent young black man for no reason, inflicted outrageous force – including two carotid chokeholds – for fifteen minutes as he pled for his life, joked when he vomited, and threatened to sic a dog on him for not lying still enough as he was dying.”

They continued, “They tampered with their body cameras to hide the evidence. They exonerated the killers. They deployed riot police and spewed pepper gas on peaceful protestors [sic] at a vigil of mourners playing the violin. And now this.”

So, I just saw Trump's ad saying Biden is not fit due to mental status. LOL - What a waste of money

I don't know where else they are running this ad, I just saw it on MSNBC. Uhm, for every gaffe you can show of Biden, you can probably find 10 for Trump- behaving or saying down right absurd, bizarre and disturbed things. Nobody watching MSNBC will see this as the same thing.
Whomever decided to pay MSNBC to run this ad is a fool.

Has anyone been able to do their jobs and get away with " I didn't know, I didn't read it

Nobody told me, I didn't hear it?

Unfrigginbelievable! Not even a fry cook could get away with this. ( Not trying to demean fry cooks) - Nobody in any job would be able to get away with abandoning the duties or their jobs.

Binge Watching Seven Seconds On Netflix.

Outstanding acting by Regina King.
I'm disappointed to hear that it was canceled so now I'm in knots wondering if the case was resolved?
Ugh! But I guess like in real life - there is rarely justice for black lives, so I guess it would be fitting.
In any event, it is excellent.

Petition to reopen investigation of black man killed while cosplaying

Please sign the petition to re-open the investigation into the killing of Darrien Hunt.
A young black man killed while cosplaying. Just like Elijah, someone called the police because he looked "suspicious". Despite the fact that all he was doing was walking. Darrien ended up dead after being chased by the police - after being shot 6 times in the back. His Samurai costume included a replica sword which was sheathed. In fact, pictures taken of Darrien walking before the shooting, show the sword, sheathed, slung across his back. Its not like he was walking around swinging it at folks.
Of course the officers say that he lunged at them with the sword. How did they end up shooting him in the back?
When they arrived, just like Elijah, all he was doing was walking, minding his own business. That is enough to get you killed by the police.

The DA declined to bring charges. He sounds just like the DA that did not bring charges in the McClain case who was on tv saying a lot of foolishness this week. He said the officers didn't know if Elijah had weapons in the plastic bag after they got report of a 'suspicious person". Same here, the DA says the killing was justified because they feared that Darrien was going to hack up the first person he saw. How? The only information they got from the 911 call was a suspicious person walking with a sword. There was no indication that he was confronting anyone.

Its amazing that this young man was a threat that had to be killed but young white men walk around with AR15s ,AK 47s or whatever their favorite weapon of war is and that is just fine. They are not seen as a threat in any way. Nobody calls and reports them as "suspicious"

Black men and women have to be fucking perfect. Obey commands if a police officer barges into your own home in the middle of the night, even if they are in the wrong house. See Botham Jean and Breonna Taylor. Even if they are supposed to be protecting you after a concerned neighbor calls to check on you, you could end up dead like Atatiana Jefferson so don't leave your door open to cause them to have to come check on you.

Don't Cosplay in public, Don't cover your face in public even if you have anemia and you get cold easily. I've eliminated all the reasons people say police have a right to stop you and kill you. Sell loosies, pass fake $20 bills, etc.

Please click the link to sign the petition to get this case reopened. It took over 2 million signatures to get Elijah's case re-opened. Let's get Darrien's case re-opened.

Sherri Shepherd is every black mother. (Listening to her made me cry again)

Sherri Shepherd says Elijah McClain reminds her of son in tearful video

The former 'The View' co-host posted a video of her emotional reaction to the story which for many reasons struck a chord with her personally.

This week Sherri Shepherd has joined the chorus of those gutted after finding out about the tragic story of Elijah McClain‘s death.

The 23-year-old Black man was killed by police officers in Aurora, Colo. last summer. His story began to resurface on social media over the last few days this amid the ongoing protests against police brutality and calls for justice for the deaths of Black people whose stories never received the media attention they deserved.

Thursday, the former The View co-host posted a video of her emotional reaction to the story which for many reasons struck a chord with her personally.

“My son is like Elijah,” she began, explaining why McClain’s death hit home in such a visceral way. “I’m a Black mother and I have a child.”

As a visibly shaken Shepherd begins to cry she continues, “Elijah died because nobody got to know the beauty… These cops, you didn’t take the time to see what Elijah just said. That he was different, and he was murdered. Why? All we want is to know that our child will be able to go to the store and get some ice tea and come back home.”

I'm watching Global Citizen on MSNBC and it is quite sad that we are not represented

by our "leader". There are leaders of other countries that they have shown speaking about the fight against Covid 19. Its so glaring that the USA does not have a leader present. While I know this is a presentation by MSNBC, its a window into what is happening. While the rest of the world is taking this seriously, our leaders are absent.
