Let him have the visibility.....Pelosi can do the real work we need in Congress. He is the face of the Party I want to represent me on a national level.

Kinda sucks to be a Republican tonight.

You lost the House. That means we get to:

(1) Run investigations on Trump
(2) Do real ethics....that means you.
(3) support Mueller

2 years from now, we will see what the national conversation will be. 2 years less old Republicans and 2 more years of new Democratic voters.

Are we kidding ourselves?

Watching MSNBC (I am sure it's the same on all channels), I am struck by the stark contrasts being shown on these political maps. Modern technology (graphics and telecommunication) hows a fascinating reality. Small islands of blue patches, surreunded by a sea of red patches.

The political battle is not "North" vs. "South"..it's "cities/urban areas" vs. "rural areas". Red is rural, blue is hi density people.

I lived a long time in the 2nd ME district in a small rural town for 25 years. It was surrounded by a lot of small rural towns. One thing I know, there is a very limited breadth of human interaction in these communities. Literally, their views are necessarily limited and insulated from a broad cross-section of society but their views are continually reinforced collectively within their limited community.

I am pretty sure that Fox News has more influence in rural communities than any other source. As such, they have inordinate influence on lots of rural communities. Repeat and reinforce with little or no challenge.

We need a political strategy that bridges these fundamental cultural differences.

It's a typical dank, rainy November night here....

Just 37% of eligible voters voted in 2014.

I think there will be 60% in this election. Of the 23% increase, I think they break 70/30 for Democrats. This is going to be a wave election. I will be happy to revisit if I am wrong.

So Republicans want an ID to vote? OK, no problem.

1st order of a new Democratic House is a bill to provide all voting Americans with a a voter ID card that ensures everyone can vote. 100MM voters x $10 bucks = $2 Billion to make Democracy Great Again. We can easily make sure all voters can have a great election experience in 2020. That's like 5 miles of Trumps imaginary cost for a wall on our Southern Border....

My take on being fan of the Red Sox.

Obviously, tonight is a great night to be in Red Sox nation. This team won 108 games in regular season, then steamrolled the Yanks, Houston, and finally, LA. I was surprised, but....not really. This towne loves their Red Sox. Everyone talks about them. Everybody has an opinion.

But I was scared, I admit it. The f'n Yanks. They had a Murderer's Row of hitters. Up and down their line-up, they could crack a game into a laugher. But they didn't...thank the RS Gods!

Most of us thought David Price....cannot win in the clutch. Why? Because the media told us he can't.....but he did, big time Personally, he still has problems with the Yanks, but....lets fast forward. Price/Evoldi/Sales...yes, that is the cherry on the top! This team was all in on winning, all were available to do whatever Cora asked. I watched this team 4 years ago when they finished last in the American League and I was excited...Betts, JBJ, Bienitendi, Bogarts, Vasquez (eventually Devers)....whatta core!

Whattabout next year? Yeah, I'm riding this - they have the experience now to win the WS...they've done that and proven themselves. Next year, a few tweaks with pitching and, oh boy, can't wait to start the 2019 season!
