Does anyone know....

If there's a site on the Web that lists all the Congress critters and governors who have accepted money from the NRA, and how much money they have taken so far?

If not, there should be, and it should be going viral, so we all know who the biggest hypcrites and ignoramuses are.

Bridge of Sighs

Robin Trower

1974

Jimi Hendrix-inspired gauzy chords, dreamy rock, psychedelia, equals timeless Robin Trower. Not a bad cut on the entire album.

A real classic.

What a brilliant idea.....

Amid endless calls for “thoughts and prayers” instead of legislative action in response to mass shootings, a woman in Michigan decided to take matters into her own hands.

After Wednesday's mass shooting in Parkland, Florida, Fern Malila mailed a letter and a check in the amount of "thoughts and prayers" to Representative Jack Bergman, a Republican in Michigan.

“Dear Rep. Bergman,” she wrote. “Since you and your colleagues in Congress seem to feel that this is the solution to mass murder, please accept this contribution.”

The Joshua Tree

U2

Okay, I'm cheating a little with this one. I don't actually have it on vinyl, only on CD. But, it's still one of my favorites.

I wanted to choose U2 tonight as a tribute to Gabby Giffords, who I saw last night speaking with her husband Mark Kelly at a lecture program at Youngstown State University. (well, Mark did 99% of the talking .... Gabby just got the standing O)

Bono is Gabby's crush.

And, I couldn't be more impressed with this heroic American couple. Here's to you, Gabby! (and Mark, too!)

This 1987 album includes "Where the Streets Have No Name," "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," "With or Without You," and "In God's Country". It has been said that U2's biggest inspiration for this album was.... America.

Tupelo Honey

Van Morrison

1971

Van the Man does R&B, folk, and blue-eyed soul better than almost anyone

And two stunning love songs ..... "You're My Woman" and the title cut.

Ahhhhhh....
