Revisit A. Bourdain's No Reservations Season 2, USA/ Mex Border episode, 2008

We watched this last night, and his episode on the Tex Mex Border is a real reminder of how far the right has dragged the immigration issue into the fog...all the issues that the right is tearing their hair out about were in play , a wall was being promoted in congress, and a Border official estimates at that time that a wall would cost over 20 Billion easy. This is must review to get back some perspective, and very entertaining as well, some sadness, but a clear look at Bourdain's balanced presentation of Immigration, kitchen work, the whole ball of wax. Watch as the Texas Border Official says no one wants a wall and it's a ridiculous solution.

My impression is that most photos, ( aside from the bad hair jail shots), I've seen of Paul Manafort seem to be variations on a go-getter bounding out of his Limo, eager to bustle off to his important; meeting, court case, take your pick. Just saying.

Acosta Action

I used to Fence and judge Fencing matches and this one is super easy to call. Intern reaches in on Acosta and he reacts. She's to blame, if you have to look at it that way. The larger issue relating to Fencing is that there is a set of Rules of Engagement that are adhered to so people don't get hurt..and in this WH, the move is to ignore any prior Rule of Engagement and that creates a dangerous playing field..they are not playing by any rules by intention.
