Jim Jordon is the rightest of the rightwing.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Jordan_(American_politician)

Political positions
While serving in the Ohio Senate, he supported the Tax and Expenditure Limitation Amendment, a state constitutional amendment that would require a vote of the people in order to raise taxes or increase spending over certain limits.[23]

In Congress, Jordan is among the most conservative Republicans, earning a perfect score from the American Conservative Union.[24] He has voted consistently for anti-abortion legislation and was endorsed by Ohio Right to Life in 2012.[25] During the 112th Congress, he was one of 40 "staunch" members of the Republican Study Committee who frequently voted against Republican party leadership and vocally expressed displeasure with House bills.[26]

In July 2008, Jordan was the first member of Congress to sign the "No Climate Tax" pledge, drafted by the conservative political advocacy group, Americans for Prosperity, founded and funded by the Koch brothers, which read "I will oppose any legislation relating to climate change that includes a net increase in government revenue."[27] He followed this with votes to open Outer Continental Shelf to oil drilling, prevent the EPA from regulating greenhouse gases, and bar greenhouse gases from Clean Air Act rules. He voted against enforcing limits on carbon dioxide (CO2) global warming pollution, tax credits for renewable electricity, tax incentives for renewable energy and energy conservation and on curtailing subsidies for oil & gas company exploration,[28] earning him a 4% lifetime score on the National Environmental Scorecard from the League of Conservation Voters.[29]

Jordan has been a leading critic of President Barack Obama's Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) program, advocating for its shutdown.[30] Jordan has supported the continued production and upgrades of M1 Abrams tanks in his district. The Pentagon opposed the bipartisan action to maintain funding.[31] The Pentagon wants to put a hold on tank upgrades at a Lima plant until a new version is ready, possibly in 2017, in order to save $3 billion. The plant supports approximately 800 jobs in the district.[32][33]

On September 29, 2015, Jordan questioned Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards.[34] In the fiercest confrontation of the hearing, Jordan sparred with Richards over her apology over a "staff member's tone and statements" on a video recording when discussing fetal tissue donation she issued after the first video was made public.[35] Jordan is against Planned Parenthood and actively supports defunding the organization.[36]

In December 2017, Jordan sought to discredit the FBI and special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.[37] Jordan questioned the impartiality of Mueller, and called on Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein to disband the Mueller investigation or create a second special counsel to investigate Mueller.[37] Rosenstein rejected the request, saying that he could not appoint another special counsel as there was not any credible allegation of any potential crime.[37] The New York Times noted that Mueller, "a registered Republican appointed by President George W. Bush to direct the F.B.I.", had come under growing criticism after Mueller's investigation "delivered a series of indictments to high-profile associates of the president and evidence that at least two of them are cooperating with the inquiry".[37]

Asked by Anderson Cooper in April 2018 whether he had heard President Trump make a lie, Jordan said "I have not" and "nothing comes to mind."[38] He also said, "I don't know that [Mr. Trump has ever] said something wrong that he needs to apologize for."[39]

Half the country thinks Donald Trump is a racist. HALF. in new poll

https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/04/politics/donald-trump-quinnipiac-poll/index.html

1. This question, like all questions tied to Trump, is effectively a measure of whether you love or hate the President. So, 86% of Republicans say Trump isn't a racist and 86% of Democrats say he is. Independents, who view Trump slightly more negatively than positively overall, have similar view on whether he is a racist: 50% say he is, 44% say he is not.
The "racist" numbers are not a direct facsimile of Trump's overall approval numbers, of course. More people feel unfavorably about Trump's job performance (55%) than say he is a racist (49%). But it's close.

(CNN)A new Quinnipiac University poll has a striking result: 49% of people said they believe President Donald Trump to be a racist while 47% believe he is not.

Pause and digest that: Half the country -- HALF -- thinks the elected President of the United States harbors racist views.
That's a remarkable finding. Full stop.

Trump's leading contender for SCOTUS is not bat sh*t crazy enough for social conservatives

He voted against the teenager, who was seeking immediate access to abortion services, and noted the government’s “permissible interest” in “favoring fetal life,” but he did not go as far as another D.C. Circuit judge, Karen Henderson, who said the undocumented teen had no constitutional right to an elective abortion.

Shannen W. Coffin, a former deputy assistant attorney general in the Bush administration, said: “It’s a bit baffling to me that conservatives would find reason for alarm in that case when he was a dissenting judge. . . . He’s bound by Supreme Court precedent.”

A 2016 case over the contraceptive mandate in President Barack Obama’s health-care law has also drawn attention. Kavanaugh sided with the group Priests for Life, but in his opinion he wrote that Supreme Court precedent “strongly suggests that the Government has a compelling interest in facilitating access to contraception” but that there were less “restrictive means of furthering” that interest.

Separately, in a 2011 challenge to Obama’s health-care law, Kavanaugh dissented from a D.C. Circuit decision upholding the Affordable Care Act, but he did so for technical and jurisdictional reasons instead of declaring the law unconstitutional, as ideological purists would have preferred.

In Los Angeles, Where the Rich and the Destitute Cross Paths

For over a century, Skid Row was the center of homeless life in Los Angeles. Its old nickname, “Hobo Corner,” conveyed a sense of geographical limit

In recent years, homelessness has leapt beyond its old boundaries, with more than 53,000 people living without homes this year. This means that Angelenos are encountering homeless people in places they never did before. I drove around the city to see what that change looks like.

In Santa Monica, the homeless in Reed Park share space with young families. Parents worry the park is no longer a safe place. “There have to be limits to compassion,” said Phil Brock, a local official. “For a lot of our residents, they have reached that limit

Colin Dangaard, 76, a Malibu resident, decided to build an apartment on his ranch for a man who was once homeless. The city pays him $1,100 a month. “I don’t understand why everyone doesn’t do it,” Mr. Dangaard says.

Rigo Veloso, 47, who had been living in a tent behind the Malibu library, moved into the apartment recently. It offers not just shelter, but a safe space for him to paint. “I finally found my sanctuary,” he said

Kaitlynn Park, 18, and Aramis Mobley, 19, a homeless couple, were getting clothing and food at a public beach in the Pacific Palisades, which is held up as a model of success for a community helping the homeless.

Today's Scott Pruitt Scandal: Told aids to find wife 200K job

Scott Pruitt Asked Aides To Find His Wife A $200,000 Job: Report
There are currently 13 federal investigations into the EPA chief’s tenure at the agency.

A former aide to Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt recently told congressional investigators that she was asked to help her boss’s wife find a job with a six-figure salary, according to multiple media reports on Monday.

The revelation constitutes the latest in a long string of reports accusing Pruitt of using his political office for personal gain and came shortly before a CNN report claimed he has employed cover-up strategies.

Samantha Dravis, the EPA’s former associate administrator for its Office of Policy, spoke recently with a congressional committee about her work for Pruitt, according to accounts of the interview first reported by The Washington Post. Dravis reportedly said that Pruitt asked her to reach out to the Republican Attorneys General Association, a group Pruitt chaired for two terms while he served as Oklahoma Attorney General, to inquire about a fundraising job he hoped would pay his wife $200,000 or more a year.

Dravis said she declined his request, saying she was worried the call would violate the Hatch Act and that she wanted to avoid potential conflicts of interest. The New York Times also reported the contents of Dravis’ congressional interview on Monday, citing people familiar with her account.
