I'm gonna assume that Mrs. Conway has learned since that interview that Kyle Rittenhouse was not a protestor... but that's the narrative that they're feeding to their base even when they know the truth.
When their side does the shooting and rioting, they lump them in with the protestors. It becomes the "protestors" doing the shooting and the "protestors" doing the rioting.
That's a narrative we have to correct and play defense with, which takes twice as much effort on our part.

One thing I'm tired of hearing is that Trump tells it like it is, or that he's authentic.
Being obnoxious doesn't mea he's telling it like it is; not doing the political doublespeak doesn't make it authentic.
He's a real life authentic bullshitter. Bullshit is his natural scent. The bullshit is obnoxious; it's in your face; it's loud; it isn't vague or ambiguous but it's bullshit.
It's not even good believable bullshit. The guy bullshits when he doesn't have to. He bullshits when the truth will cost him nothing.
