william barr's statement

"The rabbit-hole went straight on like a tunnel for some way, and then dipped suddenly down, so suddenly that Alice had not a moment to think about stopping herself before she found herself falling down a very deep well.

Down, down, down. Would the fall never come to an end! ‘I wonder how many miles I’ve fallen by this time?’ she said aloud. ‘I must be getting somewhere near the centre of the earth.’

‘I wonder if I shall fall right through the earth! How funny it’ll seem to come out among the people that walk with their heads downward!’

Down, down, down. There was nothing else to do, so Alice soon began talking again."

Nothing other than the immediate release of the full unredacted mueller report will get us out of barr's rabbit hole.

"libertarianism"

I had the rather revolting experience of exchanging words with someone who considers themselves to be both a Democrat and a "libertarian" - two mutually exclusive terms, IMO, and in reality. I believe "libertarianism" is just another excuse for pure, unadulterated, repulsive, destructive human greed.

Think ayn rand and john galt. But with Democratic approval - as abhorrent as that specter may appear.

For those confused youngsters (age notwithstanding - you're a mental infant if you believe the "libertarian" crap) here are a few reasons you should reconsider your errors in judgment and humanity.

Four Reasons to Reject Libertarianism

1. Libertarian values are repellent

2. Libertarianism is intellectually myopic

3. Libertarianism is utopian

4. Libertarianism is politically hopeless

Read the rest and, for you "libertarians" - WAKE THE FUCK UP. This isn't a game anymore. If you're aligned with the type of greed repubicans represent then just call yourself what your really are, not a "libertarian" - an ayn rand repubican.

Get with the program already. We're DEMOCRATS. "libertarians" aren't.

IMO.

N.J. GOP powerbroker George Gilmore found guilty of 3 of 6 charges after federal tax trial

Source: NJ.com/Advance Media

The Ocean County attorney and Republican political boss charged with more than $1 million in tax evasion was found guilty of three of six counts by federal jury and not guilty on two others.

George Gilmore, 69, of Toms River, was found guilty of two counts of failing to file payroll taxes for employees and one count of making a false statement on a loan application, the U.S Attorney’s Office for New Jersey said. He was found not guilty of two counts of filing a a false tax return.

A jury sitting in federal court in Trenton could’t reach a verdict on a charge of tax evasion against Gilmore and declared a hung jury following a trial that lasted more than two weeks.

His attorney Kevin Marino said Gilmore "has no intention of resigning” as head of Ocean County Republican Party, after the verdict was announced. "The jury has flatly rejected the centerpiece of the government’s case.”

Typical of the repubican scum our nation is infested with these days.

No plans to resign. Typical of our current crop of repubican scum as well.

When are we going to stop putting up with our insane relatives and throw them the fuck out of the house?

Edit: A lot more information here:

Russia, if you're listening, I hope you're able to find the mueller report

Proof positive that the election was stolen, the FBI was integral in its theft by trump and pootin, and they're going to try to do the exact same thing in 2020:

No one is hacking and leaking the mueller report.

If there was one patriot left in this entire shithole government, the entire mueller report would be public already just like Hillary's emails.

trump's "Our country is full" reminds me of hitler's "Lebensraum"

Lebensraum -
"The territory that a state or nation believes is needed for its natural development, especially associated with Nazi Germany."

hitler's excuse for conquest was Germany's purported need for "living space".

"Our country is full" is just the other side of the Lebensraum coin for our current fuckhead fuhrer.

Add to that the Lugen Presse and so many other nazi symbols and ideas trump and the gop traitors are using and you have the makings of the fourth reich, IMO.

We'll find out soon whether our supposed rule of law can stop them. It had better be soon. I think 2020 will be too late.

Appointment of Special Counsel to Investigate Russian Interference

I don't know if this has been covered in one place yet so I'm posting it here.

I remember back when mueller was appointed Special Counsel, reporting said his investigation could go anywhere the evidence led. Now that it's gone apparently nowhere, I'm seeing information that misconstrues the scope of the Special Counsel's investigation to begin with. I don't think this helps the matter much so here it is in black and white.

Appointment of Special Counsel to Investigate Russian Interference with the 2016 Presidential Campaign and Related Matters

By virtue of the authority vested in me as Acting Attorney General, including 28 U.S.C. && 509, 510 and 515, in order to discharge the responsibility to provide supervision and management of the Department of Justice, and to ensure a full and thorough investigation of the Russian government's efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, I hereby order as follows:

(a) Robert S. Mueller III is appointed to serve as Special Counsel for the United States Department of Justice.

(b) The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confirmed by then-FBI Director James B. Comey in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including:

(i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and

(ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and

(iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. & 600.4(a).

(c) If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters.

(d) Sections 600.4 through 600.10 of Title 28 of the Code of Federal Regulations are applicable to the Special Counsel.

LII Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (e-CFR) Title 28. Judicial Administration Chapter VI. OFFICES OF INDEPENDENT COUNSEL, DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE Part 600. GENERAL POWERS OF SPECIAL COUNSEL Section 600.4. Jurisdiction.

28 CFR § 600.4 - Jurisdiction.

§ 600.4 Jurisdiction.

(a)Original jurisdiction. The jurisdiction of a Special Counsel shall be established by the Attorney General. The Special Counsel will be provided with a specific factual statement of the matter to be investigated. The jurisdiction of a Special Counsel shall also include the authority to investigate and prosecute federal crimes committed in the course of, and with intent to interfere with, the Special Counsel's investigation, such as perjury, obstruction of justice, destruction of evidence, and intimidation of witnesses; and to conduct appeals arising out of the matter being investigated and/or prosecuted.

(b)Additional jurisdiction. If in the course of his or her investigation the Special Counsel concludes that additional jurisdiction beyond that specified in his or her original jurisdiction is necessary in order to fully investigate and resolve the matters assigned, or to investigate new matters that come to light in the course of his or her investigation, he or she shall consult with the Attorney General, who will determine whether to include the additional matters within the Special Counsel's jurisdiction or assign them elsewhere.

(c)Civil and administrative jurisdiction. If in the course of his or her investigation the Special Counsel determines that administrative remedies, civil sanctions or other governmental action outside the criminal justice system might be appropriate, he or she shall consult with the Attorney General with respect to the appropriate component to take any necessary action. A Special Counsel shall not have civil or administrative authority unless specifically granted such jurisdiction by the Attorney General.

If you could go back in time to Election Day 2016

If you could go back in time to Election Day 2016 KNOWING WHAT WE KNOW TODAY and change the outcome by doing whatever it takes to flip enough votes in key states to give Hillary not only the popular vote but the Electoral College as well - would you do it?

I would, without even thinking about it. Anything to negate this nightmare and prevent it from continuing until 2024 and likely beyond.

Knowing trump stole the election in 2016, shouldn't we do whatever it takes to win on Election Day 2020?

Damn right we should. Or we could just keep polishing our halos and lose again.

I'm for winning. Whatever it takes. And I don't mind getting a little dirty to win over these traitors.

I'd wear my dirt as a badge of honor.

Trump needs Nancy Pelosi, his biggest adversary, to help pass revamped NAFTA

Trump needs Nancy Pelosi, his biggest adversary, to help pass revamped NAFTA

By Jennifer Haberkorn, Noah Bierman and Don Lee
Apr 04, 2019

"So far, Trump and Pelosi have not met to discuss the pact’s future. But Trump’s top negotiators have been unusually conciliatory — taking pains to avoid confrontation, praising Pelosi for her openness, considering her suggestions and thanking her for letting them make direct pitches to moderate and freshman Democratic lawmakers whose support is critical.

“Speaker Pelosi has been very cooperative with [U.S. Trade Representative] Bob Lighthizer, very helpful in allowing him access to her conference,” Larry Kudlow, Trump’s top economic advisor, told reporters. “He spoke to the whole Democratic conference, which is very cool.”

Trump, always the biggest unknown and at times the greatest threat to his own administration’s strategy, has refrained from attacking Pelosi personally thus far, making her a rare exception for a powerful opponent. It’s uncertain whether he can continue that restraint. On other issues that Democrats have blocked, such as the border wall and an Obamacare repeal, Trump has not held back his attacks.

Some in the White House are arguing to put more pressure on Pelosi from the outside, believing she will not hand Trump a victory on a top political issue unless forced to by moderate Democrats representing closely divided House districts."

This worries me. Giving trump a NAFTA victory ticks off another item on his "promise" list for his base - you know - along with things like the wall, which they believe is actually being built now, and along with mueller's non-report that has been released in such a way so as to prove, in their minds, trump's innocence. No collusion! LOFL

Why don't we play it like the repubicans did when President Obama was in the White House? How is it that the repubicans seem to rule whether they're in the majority or the minority?

Giving in on NAFTA, and by giving in I mean negotiating at all, is a huge mistake, IMO. Giving trump aides access to moderate and freshperson Democrats - I just don't know what to say.

Everything that seemed at one time totally insane now seems to be normalized one small step at a time.
