Unbelievable. And I honestly don't understand the 'reasoning' behind this bill -- so that people can have an alternative method of marrying, as a protest against same-sex marriage???

Several years ago, one of my co-workers who followed the Limbaugh type stuff on the radio,
asked me one day, with an excited look in his eyes, what were some of the Liberal talk shows on the radio. I guess I should have been flattered; was I the representative of the Left-wing faction in our department?
I assume that he wanted a list so that he could start doing some call-ins, and become known as the Slayer of the Left. I honestly thought, and after a minute, answered, "Uh .... WPLN?"
My co-worker looked crestfallen; had I caught on to his plans, and stubbornly refused to give him anything but my name, rank, and NPR member station?
I went home and thought about it. Do we even HAVE Left-wing radio shows? Do we have some ranting, frothing-at-the-mouth, anti-evangelist hero of the airwaves?
Speaking as the recognized representative of the Left-wing faction of my department, I just don't think that's our style. We don't have that fanatical fervor to browbeat unbelievers into coming over to our side.
Which is alright. Stay informed (NPR? DemocraticUnderground?), support your candidates, vote in all elections, and contribute time in some way to you local community. And it will be enough.
