Only 17 people can save the GOP now

It will take 17 people, out of the 350 Million citizens who have any chance of saving the Republican Party as a viable, political concern or entity, if you will, in the next week.

That's a bit alarming when you think of it, that only 17 people will make that decision.

With 70+ million voters, who want that party to survive, it seems that the Trumpian 'TV-mindset' of...
"does it look good on TV",
"hows the TV ratings?"
and
"what a cow"

are the manifesto of those millions. These are the utmost beliefs of all Republicans.

If I were a republican, (which I'd never be and only voted once for one, who was against Nixon and the Viet Nam War)...
I'd be storming the local party offices demanding they impeach this 'mistake' and make every effort to swing my electedoficials into compliance of some standard of behavior, some dedication to Constitutional laws and the political mandates that have allowed our parties to thrive. Was the GOP such a mess, prior to Trump to have this mess occur, so easily and with such speed?

But if it's the 'way of the whigs' and the 'mouths that will not shut' are what they want, ok. Then the 17 people it shall be.
But no finger pointing and blaming them after all is said and done.

GOP blame. Ask for their solution?

The GOP has long used the blame game, the finger-pointing favorite to respond to everything.
Trying to shift the cause of any problem to others, when most of today's political and economic ills; are and were caused by their own hands.

When you hear or read one of the 'blame gamers' simply ask;
" So, what's your solution?"

Don't let them off with the obvious response..." Vote for Trump". Vote Republican."
No...get specific. Ask them how they would change the laws, the legislation to correct the problem.
You may find they don't even know what the problem ism but you will force them to start doing one thing.
Think about how our government works and how we adapt, revise and update to anything that comes our way.

I've had a great time educating people on how hard it is to commit voter fraud, from the individual creating a complete fake voter, which could take 18 years to get an actual fraudulent ballot... right through a potential statewide all-in conspiracy onslaught.
Not one viable solution was provided without me proving how the suggestion could not occur, using what's on the 'books today'.

So, what's your solution?

Evers: Budget to have legal marijuana provision

Wisconsin's Governor is adding a legalization for recreational marijuana to the budget.
As those states that have legalized it, have seen Hundreds of millions in new tax revenue, only a really stupid bunch would be against it.
The pandemic has ruined tax revenues for the state and this is one logical solution, or a partial solution to the debt.

Other states are all benefiting from this move, which has also reduced intoxicated driving deaths, in many of those states.
https://www.theverge.com/2019/2/5/18210827/marijuana-traffic-fatality-deaths-transportation-public-health

Of course we know that space lasers control all marijuana, and separating pot from heroin/cocaine sales would never reduce addictions and that our Wisc GOP will not consider it, because well, of course emails & Benghazi.

Let your wisc elected know this is beyond stupid and to pass this provision of feel the wrath in 2022.

GOP can fix Relief later. Pass 100% Dem Relief Bill.

The GOP is at it's obstructionist best again, and the Dems should let them fix it.
Here's how the GOP can get everything it wants...

Pass the entire CoVid Relief Bill as only Dems want it.
A 100% Dem written Relief Bill with everything only the Dems want.
It will pass the House.
The Senate can get to that expected 50/50 vote.
Then every Trump supporting American, including the GOP's multi-phobic treason-loving elected bastards,
can 'eat crow' watch a woman get the final say.
She could, if she chooses to, personally take that Bill over to the White House for the simple signature to enact it into law.
Unity is offered and presented to the GOPs. Just a little later than they'd like.

Then, the Dems can let the GOP start 'fixing/amending/screwing it up' it, after it's passed.
...After checks are all sent out and cashed.
...After all 50 states have spent all the new money needed for healthcare.
...After we have taken the immediate step to stop more Americans from dying.
...After we have helped most businesses from closing their doors.
...After we have let the world know, the traitors are no longer in control.

Time to quit playing nice with the group who will never understand anything but, "our way or the highway".
We'll just put their highway exit just a bit further down the road.

Hows the 2022 GOP House & Senate Fundraising going?

Anyone have resources to follow GOP political fundraising for the 2022 fundraising for each state?

The FEC (Federal Elections Commission) website is the official open records resource. And a very good one.
All official fundraising efforts are here:
https://www.fec.gov/data/browse-data/?tab=raising

Now that Biden has seated a new Commissioner and Dems have chosen the new FEC Chair is fully staffed and has a new chair.
https://www.fec.gov/about/leadership-and-structure/

It can officially call a meeting, restart the normal oversight processes and start new investigations. Trump stopped the FEC on his 'day one' back in 2017. The FEC could not do anything since 2017, and there has been many elections and campaigns since then.
GOP fundraising has always been a bit shady.

Is there any campaign finance group(s) that is tracking each state's fundraising efforts by the GOP? ...GOP supporting PACs/527's/etc?

I think that following the money has always been one of the best ways to find and expose those candidates that intend to cheat, to game the system and bypass the honest and legal methods of campaign finance. Finding them and targeting every GOP House, Senate, Statewide and Local candidate for 2022 will show the 'conservatives' are up to no good and following Trump's lead will use illegal and shady finance practices because if Trump can get away with it, so can they.

Auto makers going electric - so why Keystone Pipeline again?

GM announced on Jan 28, and most of the world's car makers are all setting a target of 2030 for all-electric vehicles.
GM, VW, BMW, Ford, Chrysler-Fiat, Honda, Nissan, Peugeot have all announced an 'all-electric' goal. Most cars have smaller and smaller engine options. Any hybrid car has more horsepower and torque than a fuel-only based counterpart.
The fastest cars are electric only, or electric-assisted.

Once professional transportation, ie: the trucking industry, switches to all-electric, it becomes less clear as to what this pipeline is going to be providing. An 18-wheeled semi will use those non-driving wheels to keep recharging it's batteries. Almost all electrics use the braking systems for a recharging supplement. Batteries are getting better, 500 mile 'tank range' is common. Apple makes the longest lived phone batteries and has enough cash-on-hand to purchase GM & Ford outright.

Does TransCanada or the American Petroleum groups have any information on the electric cars affect on it's long term business plan or won't it 'go there'?

Why do we need the Keystone XL pipeline again?

Gasoline consumption will decrease annually as more electric cars are produced. This will also increase the price of gasoline & diesel fueled vehicles as they loose the models that will continue to use gasoline & diesel. This is simple business 101.

Many GOPs are screaming about 10,000 jobs with the pipeline. None have provided any actual proof for that 10,000 number.
Are there any professional studies or surveys, that support that 10K number over the next decade?
Are we really going to need that many grocery shopping bags?

Packers Still Are Winningest Ever

The Superbowl is the World Championship between the AFC & NFC.
Before they made the TV show, "The Superbowl" it was called the World Chamionship. This happened when the AFC & NFC merged to create the NFL... "the League". Superbowl wins are tied at 6 wins each, for Steelers & Patriots.

So who has won the most World Championships overall?

The Packers... with 13 wins.
