CNN)A viral video from Japan aims to show how easily germs and viruses can spread in restaurants when just one person is infected.
The experiment simulates the atmosphere at a buffet restaurant or on a cruise ship. It was conducted by the public broadcasting organization NHK in conjunction with health experts.
The video shows 10 people coming into the restaurant, with one singled out as the "infected" person. Each participant goes about the buffet as they normally would, not considering a potential contamination.
At the end of the video, the participants are cast under black lights illuminating where the "infection" has spread.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Tennessee election officials say the fear of contracting the coronavirus doesnt meet the criteria to vote by mail due to illness in the state.
Elections Coordinator Mark Goins said Tuesday the determination was made in consultation with the attorney generals office.
Officials are advising their local counterparts to prepare as though all 1.4 million registered voters who are at least 60 will vote by mail in the August primary election due to the coronavirus pandemic. The guidance comes in Tennessees COVID-19 election contingency plan, which was prepared by the state Division of Elections.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The local health department isnt the only place that knows if youve tested positive for coronavirus. Turns out Tennessee is also sharing that information with policemen and sheriffs across the state.
Dozens of officers and deputies have tested positive for COVID-19 and in an attempt to slow the spread your COVID-19 status is being shared.
And if you think that HIPAA laws protect you from that happening one legal expert says think again.
Some first responders in Tennessee are given a heads up about the health status of people they might be coming in contact with.
I can see both sides of this. What do you think?

Recall campaign to remove Republican Gov. Mike Dunleavy can proceed: Alaska Supreme Court
Published 36 mins ago on May 8, 2020By Matthew Chapman
On Friday, the Supreme Court of Alaska ruled that the campaign to recall Republican Gov. Mike Dunleavy can appear on the ballot, according to KTOO.
The state Division of Elections, based on advice from Dunleavys attorney general Kevin Clarkson, had initially rejected the campaigns grounds for recall, saying they were legally insufficient, said the report. That ruling was reversed in January by Anchorage Superior Court Judge Eric Aarseth, and the state appealed Aarseths decision to the supreme court. The supreme courts two-page order Friday did not lay out the legal basis for the justices decision beyond simply affirming Aarseths ruling, saying that a full opinion would follow.

Routine vaccination of children in the United States appeared to have declined dramatically in March and April, in the weeks after Covid-19 was declared a pandemic and the United States government declared a national emergency, a new study published Friday shows.
The authors, from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other institutions, used vaccine ordering data from pediatricians who administer vaccines through the Vaccines for Children Program, which provides government-purchased vaccines to about half of the children in the United States. The study, published by the CDC in its Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, compared orders for the period from Jan. 7 through April 21 this year to the same period last year.
The findings suggest childhood vaccination efforts nearly ground to a halt between March 13 when the national emergency was declared and April 19.
There was a 2.5 million-dose decline in orders of regular childhood vaccines not counting influenza vaccines and a 250,000-dose decline in vaccines containing measles protection in that period, the authors reported.
