I just read a thread about Reagan starting the repub shit show. I have thoughts of the rights ultimate end game:
They want absolutely zero taxes for anybody over a million a year income and all large corporations.
More and more middle class are losing hourly pay status and are put on salary. that means longer hours for the same income. We will have to work even longer to eventually pay all the taxes.
They want women back in the kitchens barefoot and having babies. I had a former boss about 10 years ago tell me the moment america started going downhill was when women became liberated. Yes, they actually think this!
They want to completely eliminate all social programs for the poor, social security, even unemployment. They figure they can do that because they'll be the rich ones anyway.
They want to say this out loud, but instead think it every waking minute. They want blacks and gays hanging from trees. I'm afraid Trump taught them that they can get away with a lot more racism then they already thought. Reference Ron Johnson's ads from the recent election. They were jaw dropping!

Helping the middle class worker by again increasing rates yesterday....today, the dow is down 633. now we get to a watch grand or more drop of our 401k balance.
Plus a huge percentage of middle class were thinking of getting out of their apartment and finally getting a house will take a pass because of interest rates. Of course, it won't matter to them anyway because in a few months do to Powell's decisions, layoffs will start.
Economists need to stop looking at the 1960s playbook and instead just let the economy grow!

What bugs me the most about her leaving is usually its from the party morphing and losing the politicians viewpoint.
The Dems have been running on the same points to champion most Americans for decades, hell, before she was born. The party hasn't changed its views. she knew this well before signing up to be in the party.
To see the morphing I'm talking about look at the GOP over the last 30 years. It doesn't remotely resemble itself from the past. All except giving billionaires tax breaks.
Maybe the first shoe?
Manchin switches to repub now,, giving repubs the majority, with him getting promised he retains his leadership positions?

I think its now time for the DNC to organize all dem governors, senators, and house members to get one single message going. Every TV interview, every statement made, every Twitter post should start referring to them as the Trump party.
This will barb most repubs to instinctively react by denying or even flat out saying "no its not". The goal of our message is to get trump to strike back so much that the repubs themselves just agree to shut him down.
This is referred to as psyops, and now is the time to strike!
