Video shows California deputies fatally shooting abducted teen as she surrenders

Source: AP

A teenage girl who had been kidnapped by her father was following a sheriff's deputy's instructions and appeared to be surrendering when other deputies fatally shot her during a gun battle on a Southern California highway, according to recently released video and audio.

Savannah Graziano, 15, was shot and killed as she ran toward San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies amid a hail of gunfire on Sept. 27, 2022. Her father, 45-year-old Anthony Graziano, was also fatally shot.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department released the audio and video clips, including a heavily produced and narrated 15-minute video, on Friday in response to public records requests made by The Associated Press and other media outlets. The deputies did not have body-worn cameras, but video footage was recorded by a sheriff’s helicopter and witness dashboard cameras.

Before Savannah and her father were shot, deputies pursued Graziano’s pickup truck for some 70 miles (110 kilometers), including along Highway 15. A helicopter crew following the chase reported shots fired from the driver’s side. Other shots were fired from the passenger’s side, according to a deputy and a passing motorist. It is unclear who was shooting from the pickup truck.

I'm expecting cop defenders to defend this. They shot and killed the victim.

At least 7 shot, all under age 17, in mass shooting near Indianapolis mall

Source: NBC News via AOL

Seven children were injured in a shooting outside a mall in downtown Indianapolis on Saturday night, police said.

Indianapolis police officers were on patrol when they heard gunshots just after 11:30 p.m. and arrived on a block outside Circle Centre Mall. According to police, officers saw six people injured with gunshot wounds.

All of the victims were ages 12 to 17, police said.

Emergency medical services took the children to hospitals, and a seventh person, also under 18, arrived at a hospital on their own. One victim was in critical condition, and the six others were stable.

RWer are already blaming Mayor Pete, Biden, and UKR funding on the FSK Bridge.

Never mind bridges are not built normally to withstand collisions with huge freighters.

Snide, nasty statements only made on social media to people online and never face to face

01. "You might want to educate yourself" - This smacks of aloof elitist. I disagree with you, so you must be a stupid, ignorant, worthless little troll that is completely beneath me. When you think the way I do, then you'll be at my level.

02: "You're entitled to your opinion" - Thank you. I wasn't asking if I was or wasn't.

03: "Tell us how you really feel" - I just did. You're rude.

04: "That's never happened to me" - That's great. So discount my experiences because it's never happened to you.

05: "If that's how you feel, I pity your spouse" - You wouldn't know me if you tripped over me. BTW, nice swipe and saying I'm a bad spouse because you disagree with me.

06: "I see your education failed" - At least I got one, buddy.

07: "Maybe you need to look at yourself if those things happen to you" - Yes, it's the victim of racism's fault. I wonder it people would say that to a rape victim face to face

08: (any statement with expletives made to insult you) - I was told to consider the source, not the comment. Online fool with a keyboard being rude = scumbag.

Can you think of others? My uncle says all social media is a cesspool. Where else can a person be as rude, snide, and haughty has possible without fear of getting what they deserve?

I got this from John Fetterman (it's just a screen cap of it)

The paper copy is waiting for us in PA when we get back.

I am Jewish, and if he ran for commandant of Auschwitz, I'd vote for this man.

I love Big John and owe him everything for getting involved and getting us over the hump. I am assuming he went through the same shit with Gizelle's green card.

Saying what they are doing in Congress, Re: tik tok, plays right into the CCP's propaganda campaign.

BTW, the bill doesn't ban tik tok. It forces a foreign company with ties to a communist regime that spies on people to either sell to an American company so it can be regulated by American auditors (which the Chinese government refuses to allow if they want to bring one of their companies to the US) or the foreign company loses the privilege of doing business in the US. Its the same as saying "follow the laws we have or we revoke your business license."

Saying banning tik tok is Communist party propaganda. It's all over my wife's Chinese version of Tik Tok, douyin, with them saying "see, Americans hate us."

It's an interstate commerce issue which the Constitution says Congress can regulate. Byte Dance is a foreign company being allowed to do business here. To be honest, has anyone read the actual bill? I have.

Here it is.:

https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/house-bill/7521/text

I have WeChat, which is owned by Tencent. Anything I post from Thailand or say on it FROM Thailand goes through Chinese censors. I changed my name on there to "I dislike XJP" and got a message telling me I was breaking Chinese law before it changed my name.

Tencent is a foreign entity that does business in the US.

The CCP and its toads love telling foreigners about China: "when in Rome, do as Romans," meaning "This is China." Well, this is the US. When it Rome. . .nope, when in China, we have to bend to them. When they are here, we need to bend to them.

Either divest from a Communist Party controlled company or lose your privilege of doing business here. The Bill DOES NOT BAN TIK TOK unless Byte Dance divests. They do, sell to a company that the US can regulate under its laws, and those young people addicted to Tik Tok keep their idiotic app. Byte Dance doesn't and it's bye bye.

Stop doing the CCP's work for it by calling it a ban. The "ban" happens only if Byte Dance refuses to comply to the law

Update on my wife's Green Card - All plans are finalized

We have our tickets home. We leave Asia for the final time as residents of Thailand April 8th and arrive to go through immigration at Logan in Boston the next day, then sit there and take Southwest to Pittsburgh.

Our house has passed inspection so we will be ready to move into it when we are ready so will live with my parents until then. The old owners kept most of the furniture so it is nearly fully furnished.

She has interviews waiting for her when we get here as do I, and my publisher is waiting for me to come back to start prompting my novel and doing book tours. My screenplay is getting prepped for production later this year.

My father will start training my wife to take over his business when we arrive.

99% done.

BTW, Sen. Fetterman really stepped up for us to get us over the hump and sent a letter to my parents for my wife welcoming her to the US. I believe he went through the same crap with Gizelle I went through with mine.

John Fetterman is an amazing man and has three lifelong voters from now on. When my wife goes for her citizenship, she will vote for him too.

Oh, and she is a solid Democrat too but didn't know it until we quizzed her on her political ideas.
