Ukraine - The Country That Defied Vladimir Putin

Long video, but it shows how the traditional whipping boy of Russia (including the Stalin created war crime Holomodor) has stood up to the psychopath in the Kremlin.

Louisiana Senate candidate Gary Chambers burns Confederate flag in latest viral ad

Gary Chambers Jr., a U.S. Senate candidate from Louisiana who went viral for smoking marijuana in his first campaign ad, is back with another provocative spot in which he burns a Confederate flag.

The ad, which was released on Wednesday, begins with Chambers holding an American flag and quoting the Declaration of Independence.

“They said, ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal,’” Chambers says. “But here in Louisiana and all around the South, it feels like Jim Crow never left and the remnants of the Confederacy remain.

“The attacks against Black people, our right to vote and participate in this democracy are methodical,” he continues in the 60-second spot, pouring gasoline on the flag. “Gerrymandered districts are a byproduct of the Confederacy. Our system isn’t broken. It’s designed to do exactly what it’s doing, which is producing measurable inequity. One in 13 Black Americans are deprived of the right to vote. One in nine Black Americans do not have health insurance. One in three Black children live in poverty.”

Andrew Yang apologizes for saying Joe Rogan isn't racist because he works with Black people

Source: NBC News via AOL

Former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang is backtracking on his tweet defending Joe Rogan, in which he claimed Rogan isn't racist because he works with Black people.

"I don't think Joe Rogan is a racist — the man interacts with and works with black people literally all of the time," Yang tweeted Sunday.

Yang, who appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience in February 2019, added, "Do I know black friends of Joe's who would swear by him? Yes I do."

Yang's comments came one day after Rogan, who has been the center of controversy regarding Covid-19 and vaccine misinformation on his Spotify podcast, issued a public apology for his past use of racial slurs.

Dwayne Johnson calls Joe Rogan support a 'learning moment for me': I was not aware of his N word use

Dwayne Johnson appears to be walking back his public support of podcaster Joe Rogan.

The Jungle Cruise star, 49, had originally spoken out in support of the host, whose podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, has garnered tremendous negative attention recently. In addition to Rogan's statements about vaccines which have resulted in several major artists removing their music from Spotify, the situation took a turn after singer India.Arie shared a compilation of clips showing Rogan repeatedly using the n-word on several episodes of the podcast. Arie said Spotify's association with Rogan led to her decision to end her association with the platform, following a move by musician Neil Young last month after he cited Rogan's show for "spreading false information about vaccines."

Upon being notified of Rogan's use of the slur, Johnson weighed in on Twitter, stating that he "was not aware of his n-word use before my comments, but now I've become educated to his complete narrative. Learning moment for me."

Disclosing the fallout over my wife: Re - Her Green Card

I know this is personal, and I shouldn't disclose this, but I will here because I am no longer running for office and I will return to China on May 27th.

November I broke. Since her second rejection and Mark Kelly's office pretty much ignoring me since doing the bare minimum to help me and the fact I look at the same white walls all day alone and isolated, I put myself in a mental health clinic where I stayed for eight days.

On a tangent, mental health clinics are anything but. There is no real therapy. It's run and operated with prison ideas and prison mentality, even using prison language and tactics. People are there to deal with illness and are treated with doing nothing, mindless busy-work, and "lights out" mentalities. But that's beside the point.

I was diagnosed with bi-polar two, BPD, and PTSD. They also ran bloodworking and found I was diabetic with blood sugar high enough to cause a stroke. They doped me up on so much medication I was a walking zombie there. I met the doctor 15 minutes a day at most.

This process broke me completely. Between my wife's tears, an unsympathetic community where I work, and an indifferent attitude from people I reached out to help an American citizen reunite with his wife, my world fell apart. I lasted 16 months before I had my breakdown. And it was a complete nervous breakdown.

I cannot stress enough that we all need to work to end this legal immigration nightmare. No American citizen should ever allow their government from separating Americans from their families.

Mental health is not a "get help" solution. You always take two steps forward and one step back. I may be cleared to work, but it's always there. The eye is always watching and waiting to manifest. The medication is only there to treat symptoms.

If I had a true support network, maybe the eye wouldn't have taken me over. But no one cared, and few did anything to help or understand. It has left a very, very sour taste in my mouth.

My wife, bless her, told me she wants to continue, but wants to go through the process when I am there with her. So it isn't dead, it's on hold. But after all of this, my view, albeit very cynical, of my country and its principles have been shattered. And once glass is shattered, you can fix it, but it's always broken.

Sad thing is, the US government doesn't care about any of us, unless you are famous, wealthy, powerful, or influential. Being a struggling writer with an ex-manager/producer in Hollywood running your name through the mud because I got tired of his lies, abuses, and threats. . .as well as a low level teacher that no one listens to, especially people in power (don't get me started on teacher accountability when there is little administrator accountability and no student accountability) who dictate to me what to do and what to teach, including proposing rules to gag me if I teach history or government that may offend people (yes, I am a social studies teacher), I know the US government (and the state government as well) doesn't care what I say.

We have an legal immigration system that makes bringing families here as costly, cumbersome, and soul destroying as possible. I know. It broke me completely.

Weirdest scam call you ever received?

I've gotten a lot, but the one I got five minutes ago takes the cake.

"USCIS" called and said there is a problem with my immigration status. They have to go over the files and there is a processing fee of $710 to clarify the errors.

I never knew American citizens have immigrations statuses. I told them “okay, but this American citizen would rather give you 710 middle fingers. Can I start now? One, two, three . . ." and they hung up on me.

This one was better than all the ”speeding tickets“ I received in Cocksackie, NY while I was living overseas from the "New York State Police Department."

With all the crap coming out now about Trump, it reveals his administration was a crapshow

One. Complete. Crapshow.

At least Richard Nixon was smart and tried to hide it until the house of cards came down.

This idiot put it all in plane view with records coming all back to him.

This isn't Watergate. This is the idiot's guide to never cover your tracks.
