What will Trump voters do when they are forced to confront reality?
Like the Trump voters, the people of the South were bombarded by the southern elites with propaganda prior to the civil war.
When the war broke out poor, average southern men were thrilled with excitement of going to war. By the end of 1862 the thrill was gone. The moral of the poor, average southern soldiers had been destroyed. The South was doomed.
Most southern soldiers were poor farmers. They never owned a slave in their lives. The first reality they had to face was the horrors of war. Then they had to face the reality of the southern elites broken promises and lies.
The southern elites promised the southern soldiers their families would be looked after, taken care of. That did not happen. When food shortages swept the South the southern elites did not plant more food. They continued to plant cotton. Then the southern elites began to extort basic necessities from the southern people.
In 1862 the southern elites passed the conscription acts. One of those acts was the 20 Slave Rule. If you owned 20 slaves your first born did not have to fight. Once again the poor, average southern soldier had to confront reality. They were fighting a rich mans war.
Thousands of southern soldiers deserted. Many of those who continued to fight did so out of fear. Then of course you had the hardcore extremist soldier who simply made up new lies to convince themselves reality was not real. The extremists became more extreme and destroyed themselves.
In my opinion, Trump voters will soon be forced to confront reality. I believe the Jan 6th committee will recommend to the justice department charges be brought against Trump and many of his enablers. Not to do so would be a crime in it self.
I believe their will be trials the Trump voters will witness. They will be confronted by the truth, reality. In my opinion, we will see a similar reaction to what happened to the southern people, soldiers. Many will desert Trump. Others will recognize the truth but not admit it out loud. The extremists will become more extreme and in the end destroy themselves.
The Proud Boys could be key to the Jan 6th investigation.
We know there were Proud Boys at the hotel the day before. They were guarding Roger Stone. So we know the Proud Boys were at the hotel the same time Trumps people were having their meetings.
On the 6th, a group of Proud Boys left early for the capital, an hour or two before Trumps speech. I believe they met at the Washington monument. They started the attack before the main crowd arrived. That was not an accident, that was planned. The question is, who planned it.
We know 3 or 4 Proud Boys are cooperating with the committee. If it can be proven the Proud Boys were coordinating with Trumps people at the hotel, that's a conspiracy. It would tie Trumps people with the very people who attacked the capital first.
A quote from Deep Throat (All the Presidents Men) "In a conspiracy like this, you build from the outer edges and go step by step. If you shoot to high and miss, everybody feels more secure".
Hopefully, 2022 will be a year of justice.
We already know there will be many trials this year. Bannon, hopefully Meadows, proud boys, oath keepers will go on trial next year.
Many people have talked, made deals with the Jan 6th committee. More importantly the committee has many documents in their possession.
Soon the committee will hold open hearings. There is no way of telling what we may learn during these hearings. It won't be good for Trump and his enablers, that's for sure.
We have been waiting a long time for justice, Happy New Year everyone.
Make Trump voters very afraid, then sit back and watch them do this.
They will seek out, attack and destroy their number one enemy.
Themselves.
We are witnessing this process unfold right before our eyes. They were told to fear masks, a life saving vaccine. They were told to fear Democrats. They were told to fear a stolen election. It did not matter it was lie.
They were told to fear the free press. They were told to fear immigrants, black and brown people. The list goes on and on.
Thousands of Trump voters have killed themselves by covid. Hundreds have been arrested and destroyed their lives. Many more will follow.
Trump voters are not unique to history. People throughout history have destroyed themselves blindly following fear.
