A mental illness. If a women has an abortion they don't want to send her to prison, they want to send her to a mental institution for treatment. I don't know if this is true, but it sounds like something the Republicans would do.
Don't panic, the abortion ban is going to fail miserable just like prohibition did.
It is not enforceable. They will try to enforce it and they will fail. There are Republican controlled States that are poor states. They don't have the resources to enforce the crazy laws they are going to pass. They will have to create an anti abortion police force, court system, in order to enforce it. That costs money, resources.
The Supreme Dictatorship Court: Biden, the Democrats need to remind, educate the people about this.
The years 1932 thru 1952. That's how long our ancestors kept the Republicans out of the Whitehouse. It transformed our culture, country for the better.
Biden and the Democrats must constantly remind the people it is the president who picks the members of the court. If another Republican is elected president they will put more extreme judges on the court.
The Republicans extremism may have just set off a huge cultural shift in our country. The majority of young people do not like what the Republicans are doing . They are the future.
Today the Supreme Court ended Set Precedent, which makes the court a worthless institution.
This decision is even worse than I original thought and I original thought is was really bad. It's worse than that. They decided any Supreme Court decision can be changed. No Supreme Court decision can be trusted.
They have destroyed the reputation of the court and I don't know if it can ever be recovered.
I am all in on the idea to expand the court.
The Republican platform: Kill women, kill school children, destroy our democracy.
If the American people cannot see and understand this, then they deserve to lose everything. Only the American people can fix this madness. November will tell us where the people stand.
Todays ruling is an unenforceable mess passed by lies, deception and stupidity.
Women will die. Women will still get abortions. Republican controlled states will pass crazy laws that will be difficult to enforce and will cost those states a lot of money to enforce. It will lead to legal problems.
The only way to stop women from getting abortions is to arrest them. That is not feasible in my opinion. Are they going to arrest hundreds of thousands of women every year? This decision will create chaos. It's going to lead to, create, a lot of problems. It will create an underground black market. It will put pressure on the healthcare systems in Republican states that already have shit healthcare systems.
It kind of reminds me of prohibition. Banning booze led to complete chaos. It was unenforceable, no matter how many people were arrested it did not stop people from getting booze.
There are some things you can't do in America. Taking a right away is one of them.
The dog caught the car and now the dog is going to get run over.
Lying, cheating, to take away a right away is even worse. It will really come back to haunt the Republicans.
It takes a lot to wake the American people up, no doubt. Taking a right away is a sure fire way to wake them up. Lets see what happens this November.
Are women marching yet? They will be.
Wait till the American people see the crazy laws that will be passed in Republican states. Holy shit. There is going to be a giant backlash, I have no doubt.
The further they move towards extremism, they closer they get to their own self destruction.
The Republicans in congress, the Supreme Court are becoming more and more extreme. They are winning battles, but they will lose the war.
I still have faith in the majority of the American people. I believe the Republicans are going to pay a price in the upcoming elections.
The Democrats have so much to attack with against the Republicans. Traitors who tried to end our democracy, taking away women rights. If the Democrats cannot win elections against this, they would be incompetent beyond belief.
It is more than likely Pajama Man Clark will be indicted.
