Matt Gaetz asked Trump for a pardon that covered him from his birth till now.
I wonder, does the DOJ have wire, phone taps in place?
Garland had to show good cause to a judge in order to raid Clarks house. That means he had good evidence.
Garland has a lot of evidence to show to judges. He knows what kind of people he is dealing with. They are as corrupt as you can get, they will commit crimes in order to protect themselves. Pay people to keep their mouths shut, etc. They are like the mob.
Garland may have been investigating many of these people for months. He could have shown good cause to judges in order to get wire/phone taps put in place. Just saying.
We now know Garland is investigating Jeffrey Clark, which means
he is investigating everyone connected to Jeffrey Clark. This is a conspiracy investigation. It is becoming clear Garland is investigating everyone connected to the attempted coup.
Clark has two choices, he can go to prison for Trump or he can turn on Trump.
Garland sure does do a lot when he is doing nothing.
The investigations are moving forward and upward. I wonder what they found at Clarks house. You don't raid a house unless you believe something is there.
The governor of NY pretty much told the Supreme Court to piss off.
She is going to fight. She said she is going to look at their decision very closely and take action. I have no doubt she will find loop holes around the Republicans decision because they are stupid fools.
Now that the Supreme Court gave people the right to get a permit to carry a gun, states have the right to raise the price for that permit. They have the right to say you must have so many hours of training before you can get your permit.
States can make the supreme courts decision very expensive. This could back fire on the Republican idiots sitting on the court.
The use of originalism to judge the 2nd amendment is a fools errand.
The only way you can do this is to make shit up. The Republicans on the Supreme Court are full of shit, they are liars.
The Texas police involved in the school shooting are making a big mistake.
It is the cover up that will get you arrested. If you come out and tell the truth you may lose your job, but you will probably not be arrested.
Garland, being an institutionalist, may actually work out in our favor.
We may be looking at this in the wrong way.
While president, Trump completely corrupted the DOJ. He made a mockery of the rule of law. He destroyed the reputation of the DOJ.
For Garland, a proud institutionalist, this must have been horrifying and completely unacceptable.
Garland knows many Americans, including many Democrats have lost faith in the rule of law and the DOJ. I have no doubt Garland wants to restore the reputation of the DOJ and the peoples faith in the institution he loves.
There is only one way Garland can do this. By indicting all those responsible for the attempted coup. To indict them and to give them their day in court. There is no other way Garland can repair the damage done to the institution he loves.
Just my opinion.
I believe Garland/DOJ are going to throw the Book at the fake electors.
When you have the forged documents with peoples signatures on them, that is not a hard case to prove in a court of law.
When you have an evidence trail a blind man can follow, documents, e-mails, texts, phone call, showing people conspired in the fake electors scheme , that is not a hard case to prove.
When you have people appearing on TV admitting they were part of the fake electors scheme, that is not hard to prove.
A message must be sent, this type of arrogant, blatant, criminal behavior will not stand. You will pay a heavy price.
I don't know how many laws the fake electors broke. Garland will charge will charge them with whatever he can. I have no doubt.
