How I think the court would rule

I don’t think we’ll get five justices to get him off the ballot. I won’t agree with it, but I think they’ll say he can’t be kicked off the ballot. I hope I’m wrong.

I do, however, think they’ll rule against him in his immunity claims. If they agree to hear the appeal, I can see 5-4, even 6-3, ruling against him.

In the latter case, I’m pretty sure how our side will vote, and I’m pretty sure how Alito and Ginny’s husband will vote. That leaves the other four, and while I’m no fans of any of them, they do sometimes join the liberals and none of them are exactly loyalists like that partisan hack in the documents trial.

Thoughts?

TFG thinks he's more popular than T-Swift

‘NEW: Trump aides pledge a "holy war" on Taylor Swift as the former president privately grouses that he's "more popular" than her’

https://x.com/rollingstone/status/1752402535925653869?s=46&t=TEkGdOYblbsNDtM5BiaFTQ

‘As rumors of Taylor Swift backing Biden 2024 swirled, Trump privately claimed that he is “more popular” than Swift is and that Trump has more committed fans than she does.’

I actually laughed out at this.

I can’t say I’m a fan of her music, but she might be the most famous, most popular human on the planet.

I don’t think you want to pick a fight with the Swifties, especially if you’re deeply unpopular outside of your cult.

We all know he won't pay...

It’s great he got ruled against, but OJ still hasn’t paid for losing in civil court.

He pays his bills as much as Pinocchio tells the truth.

MAGATs sure have their talking points

As a Sports Illustrated lover, someone who collects signed Sports Illustrateds and has more than 100 of them, it sure is a sad day for me with all the staff being laid off and me not knowing the future of SI.

Cue the MAGAts, however, saying go woke, go broke on Twitter, that’s it’s all because they had a transgender woman featured in their swimsuit issue.

No, it isn’t the fact that the print industry is rapidly declining as a whole, is it? It isn’t because SI was weekly until 2015, then bi-weekly until 2020 and monthly since 2020? It has nothing to do with that and that happening all before last year’s swimsuit issue, right? That one mistake hurt an empire, right?

SI is not officially dead, just hoping it somehow continues to survive.

Guess what moron blames AG James over

https://x.com/acyn/status/1745493275124097347?s=46&t=TEkGdOYblbsNDtM5BiaFTQ

‘Trump says AG James is the reason why Exxon left New York and moved to Texas. Exxon moved to Texas in 1989’

Cue the cultists believing it. They’ll believe it if he blamed Hunter Biden for How Green Was My Valley winning Best Picture over Citizen Kane for 1941.

‘Trump on Americans voting against him in 2020: They better not do it again. We’ll fight like hell’

Guess what, Traitor?

More red meat for the base

‘Trump: You should all stay in those voting booths— you should stay there and watch and if you see bags of crap coming into the voting areas, you gotta stop it’

https://x.com/acyn/status/1743473382614831570?s=46&t=TEkGdOYblbsNDtM5BiaFTQ

‘Trump claims Civil War didn't have to happen: "You could've negotiated that ... this is something that could've been negotiated ... that was a tough one for our country ... if you negotiated it, you probably wouldn't even know who Abraham Lincoln was ... that would've been okay"’

https://x.com/atrupar/status/1743721843758936106?s=46&t=TEkGdOYblbsNDtM5BiaFTQ

The first one sounds like a dog whistle and voter intimidation.

The second one isn’t as bad as we need to get over it, but it’s more repulsiveness.

If slavery could’ve been negotiated, that led to states rights allowing slavery, the Missouri Compromise. And maybe other Americans don’t remember this, but I remember he couldn’t negotiate his way out of a paper bag (North Korea, for example).

So, the party of Lincoln, literally a party founded as anti-slavery, has morphed into someone thinking it wouldn’t have been so bad if we never heard of him.

It’s going to be a long year.

They get scarier by the year, by the day

There is not a single thing that can be offered to me that could entice me to vote for them. Not the Bears winning the Super Bowl, not every penny Elon Musk has, not even if my life depended on it.

I would crawl over broken glass out in the rain without a coat to vote for President Biden if it's the last thing I ever did.

And as a straight white male, I don't feel safe either because I'm an atheist who might get theocracy pushed on me like it is for others.

Between a proposed J6 celebration tomorrow, wanting to issue an official apology to J6ers if he gets back in the White House, to saying we should "get over it" after a deadly shooing in Iowa when a sixth grader died to mocking stuttering to the Fifth Circuit and corrupt, illegitimate SCOTUS allowing abortion bans to fly even in the cases of medical emergencies.

Abortion isn't a state issue, not when these bans are a threat to every fertile woman in the country and people are wanting national bans.

You can't lecture me on the Second Amendment protecting us from tyranny if you're going to vote for the same kind of tyranny you claim the Second Amendment protects us against. Otherwise, what's the point of the amendment?

My grandma died of a non-COVID death in 2020. It took me a full year to completely wrap my head around the fact that she was gone, that I had to remind myself she was or every so often forget she was gone. It was the worst pain I ever experienced, and that was from someone in her nineties who had a septic shock, let alone if I had to deal with the reality of losing a child to gun violence.

That's something you never get over. That's something you get through. If that's even possible.

We shouldn't have to keep being on edge like this every two years, every four years, but here we are.

I can't believe this is America. What country am I really in?

Remember when they idolized Raygun?

Before 2015, it was Raygun this, Raygun that.

And yeah, he was a lousy president, but they also idolized someone who spoke in favor of Social Security, gun control and the separation of church and state, and despite being one of the worst presidents of all time, even he seemed to have his positives in retrospect.

We’ve been in an eight-year nightmare that I don’t see ending at least until he dies or is locked up.

And they accuse celebrities of getting involved in politics, but they spent decades idolizing an actor who got into politics, now worship and dictate their whole platform off what a corrupt reality TV Star says.

Something is wrong with them psychologically when they preach their gospel, but also have their hero worship here on earth.

‘James Comer 5 months ago: It’s a coverup, nobody creates shell companies

(It was just revealed that James Comer has been operating a secret shell company for years)’

So, Comer might not have the gavel, but he’s the Gingrich of this sham.

Accusation = confession. It’s like clockwork, pure clockwork with these clowns.
