Any idiot can shoot one. It's like a hose spray with bullets.

A rifle, single-shot, requires aim, a good eye, and patience as well as training. That would frustrate a lot of potential purchasers.

By contrast, automatic weapons are bad-ass. They're in the military; they're in the movies; your friends have them.

And how many "safety classes" are there for automatic weapons? It's an oxymoron.
