Except that we have all had enough of what the Trump administration dishes out and can't take.
Remember the Republican "debates"? They were more like cat fights in which Trump was the nastiest cat of all.
Trump's wiping or pretending to wipe dandruff off the shoulder of Macron, the president of an allied country, France, was about the rudest thing I could ever imagine a president of any country, a person in fact, doing. It was uncalled for. It was unpresidential.
Wolf's speech dished out what Trump and crew have been dishing out not only in this country but around the world since even before Trump came to power. It was well deserved. I hope it hurt a lot of feelings because the Trump administration needs to take some time for self-examination and reflection.
I agree with your post in general, but enough is enough when it comes to the crude and rude that emits from the stench in the halls of the White House since Trump has been living there.
That stench does not represent the kind and good and free America I love. It just doesn't. It's mean. Sometimes the mean bullies like those in the Trump administration can only change when they get a taste of their own medicine.
But generally, I would agree with you on your point. Just not in this case. Too much mean. Too much bullying coming out of our White House.
And Trump's absence shows that he can dish it out, but he can't take it.
