Spanky stages a production, claiming some sort of phony achievement.

The cult cheers, the media fawns over him, many on the left wring their hands and gnash their teeth.

Those of us who have been paying attention for the past 30 years sit back and wait for the rest to realize that the whole thing was nothing but a stage production that only made things worse for this country. (Well, except for the cult. They'll never figure it out.)

Lather, rinse, repeat.
