But the USA women are keeping the flame, not dominant, but competitive in every sprint event.

Looks like the USA men could have a budding superstar. A high school kid in Texas is setting national records in the 100 meters and is a dominant long jumper and also in the 200 meters. If he stays on course and gets better with age (he is just 18), he could surpass Carl Lewis in the 100m, 200m and long jump. The kid also ran the 400m and 800m and was excellent there before focusing on the sprints and long jump. In video he appears to have unfathomable topend speed, but his start is still a little ragged. He is winning races by meters all the same.
