It's a reference to a real phenomenon, diminishing memory of names of things and people. And we can deal with it by getting embarrassed or by smiling about it.

Oh for heavens sake! I am 64 years old and yes, I have Senior moments, and I say so.

IDK, I'm 58 and considered a senior in many stores. It's definitely appropriate as I notice it more.
