(14,118 posts)14. For me what matters these days is that a person can learn anything they want to online.
We don't have to wonder if the subject matter is still being taught. And as a person who always
failed penmanship I can say that the best course I took in high school was touch typing which I'm using to construct this message!

A metaphor compares two dissimilar things by linking them with a commonality.

Metaphor if figurative and simile is literal (kind of--it doesn't pretend one is the other).
