Trump actually could have been the big hero if he'd said a few uplifting things and then stood aside and let the professionals do their thing. People need heroes at difficult times and they're determined to see them somewhere. Trump could have been that hero. All he had to do, really, was not pull down his pants and take a dump on the country.
