He knows that there is zero risk and only upside to doing this. It's free money.

I was a Sanders voter, but Biden has done nothing but impress me so far. I have to say, I've always liked Biden, but his recent moves are moving me into being an enthusiastic supporter of his - it shows that he knows how to build coalitions, a key to succeeding in politics that Sanders was never truly able to master.
